Darkoz - that first class choice is tough. It's pretty much never thousands of dollars on a domestic flight (but that makes the choice easier) . Hard to know the true value. Looks like my flight in May will be $350/$430/$600 for economy/premium economy/first. I'm 6'4" and my knees hit the seat in front of me in regular economy. How much knee pain should I accept on a 3 hour flight? Is less pain worth $80? Is no pain worth $250? If I wasn't on an airplane, I'd probably pay $250 to avoid that feeling so deltas pricing seems about right to me.
Got some great prices so need tk confirm dates and what we are doing
Its a big saving to fly out weds vs Thursday but thats fine. Im sure the kids would prefer the first day be for them exclusively
What are we doing friday?
Saturday? There are some really cheap Saturday evening tickets to LA but if I am going to miss the dinner we will go Sunday. Obviously we are skipping any planned gambling
Is there anything planned for Sunday?
The plan is to fly back from LA on Tuesday so just need to know the best day to skip over to LA from Vegas
Fly??? What, no bus?Quote: darkozIm seriously looking into the tickets as jn ready to buy

Quote: NathanDark Oz, I am wondering why you HAVE to take the Underaged Grandkids with you to the WOV Spring Fling Event? Why not leave them with your ex wife who is the Grandmother of them? Not to be a cynical Debbie Downer, but it seems that having underaged kids with you at the Spring Fling Event would be a major drawback as they wouldn't be able to gamble or drink and in turn you would have to forgo some of your fun time to look after them. I may be missing something here on why you have to take them considering that their Grandmother could stay home and watch them.
I personally dont drink either so not sure how much fun I will be.
Just flying alone will not be enough to get me out to Vegas. If its a family trip with a detour to knotts berry farm then yes I will be coming
On a more grim note the grandmother is into her second year fighting a brain tumor and is in no condition for long stretches of watching children although the 13 year old would probably not be a problem
Quote: billryanYou do realize the first class ticket holders get there faster than the ones in steerage..
Sigh if being Jewish has any faults its being cheap
I'm not sure I'm interested in the various dinners and events, but I would do the hike if that went down.
