Well, I always have a good time! Don't know if I will make it, but if I do....lets go play some Speedy Craps! If they try to slow the dice up, we break arms. When we win a few bucks, we break dance. I am up to 75% coming now. Wife still is on the fence but when I told my mom it was about mothers day. She said F that, go to vegas. BTW I have been to Vegas about 7 times with my parents.

ok I am up to 90% now. Wife just said ok lets ok, I jumped right on to book flight and before I could actually book it she said let me think 1 more day. She is now ok missing mothers day with the kids but is worried her mom will be mad. Her mom is the classic MIL from hell. She will probably flip because once again she picked me over her mother just like the wedding.

My ex had that same problem with her 4 year old. I never understood why she let him sleep in her bed but I guess it’s normal... who knew?

well you see. Last night we had a rough night. They were in our bed. Our bedroom is on the bottom floor next to the livingroom. They were fighting as normal. I walked in and said if I hear 1 more thing you are in your room tonight. Within 10 sec they were arguing about something. I walked in calm as can be. Did not yell or raise voice. I said lets go, we are going upstairs. I took them up as they cried and carried on. I stayed calm and put them in their beds. I sat in the hallway for an hour and made them go to sleep. They staying in their room all night for the first time in as long as I can remember. Tonight she told them to get ready for bed and they were both like, can we sleep in our rooms tonight. I about passed out and they went to to their rooms. Currently they are sleeping. If they keep this up I am going to be so happy.

FWIW (probably not much) I just wanted to say that I hope this tradition continues even if there’s a lowisn turnout (I think 5+ is plenty).
I’m not really in the financial position at this point in my life to responsibly take more than 1 vacation each year. And unfortunately I can’t sell my significant other in Vegas or Disney World for every single vacation.
So, I hope to make next year.
