A step above Taco Bell, or at least it was. They used to offer ground turkey as an alternative to their beef, but then started with impossible plant meat instead.

Very average fast food. People that I know seem to think their burgers are decent but I have never had one. I only get their tacos on Tuesdays afetr having a few libations. On Tuesday they are 3 for $1.29. I am cheap so that is the only time I will get them. They are worth $1.29 but not much more.

Thank you both for your input

Kinda funny as the one they are building here is literally next to Taco Bell and on the other side of it about 100 yds away is a sit down Mexican restaurant.

Street vendor style kraut dogs. Don't
just slap kraut on a dog, ick. I carmalized
a medium onion in the frying pan, added
garlic powder and pepper and smoked
paprika, fried for awhile. Scored the dogs
with criss cross cuts and micro'd for 3
min. Put a piece of white American
cheese on the lettuce, the dog, ketchup,
kraut, topped with sharp cheddar in
a can. I could have eaten 4 more, they
were that good. It was the contrasting
flavors, the sweetness of the ketchup
and the tartness of the kraut. The two
cheeses, the warm dog.

I know some of the joints create a dip by mixing stuff such as ketchup and mayo, or mustard and mayo, etc.

I tried my own - I mixed ranch dressing with Russian dressing

and used it instead of tartar sauce over some battered fish filets

for me, it was a big winner

Taco salad. All from scratch, even the taco
seasoning. Two kinds of lettuce, and
baby spinach leaves. White and yellow
cheddar on top.

They do have crinkle fries and I like those best. The burgers are ok, better than BK, but never they are never hot enough.

The quality of their Taco meats seem much better than Taco Bell, however, it all seems to lack flavor and seasoning.

The Ground beef Quesarito at Taco Bell is about the only thing I like from there. Its actually really tasty with a side of sour cream and extra Quesarito sauce. The sauce is really good, it's like a smoky chipotle sauce. I normally don't like stuff reheated, especially anything fast food, but if you pop it in the oven, it tastes even better since you cook the tortilla better than they do.

Every now and then I’ll cook up a pound and eat it. First half on Rye toast with Mayo. Second half just by the piece. But that certainly isn’t my only food intake for the day.

Hi!
For today I ate nothing but I can tell you about one perfect salad. The recipe is very simple. Let's begin with products you need: garlic, chicken, some toasts, mayonnaise, and bell pepper. Firstly you should stew chicken with garlic for like 4 hours, then you should make toasts(you can buy it at any shop but the best toasts are made by yourself). Then mix everything and yummy! Usually, you can add some feta cheese to it.

I eat the raw Quaker Oats for health purposes
but I don't like the oatmeal hot - so I put it in the fridge and wait and eat it cold
I put some sweets on top and it becomes very much like rice pudding - oats are a grain as is rice a grain - quite good
I'm always amazed how the same foods can seem so very different when they're cold compared to when they're hot

Not really. 1 pound of cooked bacon
weighs 4oz. If you ate 2 pounds of
cooked bacon you'd be in the
emergency room. You actually ate
8oz, 1/2 pound.

Why would I be in the emergency room? I am guessing that you don't have much medical training.

Of course bacon cooks down some but when you cook it so it is still soft like I like it I doubt it cooks down more than 35%.

'Some' is an understatement. I used
to cook bacon and weigh it all
the time. 1 pound of raw bacon
weighs 4oz. Or less if it's really
fatty. Like a 20 pound raw
turkey actually produces about
9-10 pounds of edible meat.
You want 2 pounds of cooked
bacon, cook down 8 pounds of
raw bacon.

Wouldn't that be a good law suit if 1 pound or raw bacon weighed 4 oz? I would probably sue Hormel.

When cooked, it does. Ever see cooked
bacon in the store? 8oz costs $5. Because
it weighed 2 pounds before it was cooked.

I broiled some lamb chops - I'm not any kind of great cook and I'm not really bragging about my cooking but they were very good
a little bit pricey compared to my usual dinner but not too bad
so easy to cook - 7 minutes each side - I seasoned with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder

gets very tender and delicious close to the bone
of course they charge by the pound, and the bone is about a third of the total weight - it's worth it

Last night: an oven-broiled10-ounce Top Sirloin and some mixed veg.

I still need to figure out what the "sweet spot" is for cooking steak; the first 10 minutes had the outside pretty much charred, but the inside was still rare; another 8 minutes turned it into barely pink inside.

Buy a cast iron skillet. Spend an afternoon seasoning it a few times. You won’t regret it.

I ordered ten pizzas from Pisanos in Albany for the Super Bowl, and decided to have one tonite. Thirty six slices of pepperoni on a ten inch pie.
One of the brothers left Brooklyn to go to school in Albany and decided to open a pizza shop. Twenty years goes by and they have a small chain and also deliver NY style pizzas worldwide. For the Big Game, they had ten pies for $99 shipped.
It's not the best I've ever had, but it's definitely some of the best you can get delivered.
I was going to order from Ferrerros, but they had a $29 per item delivery charge so they lost the sale.
