I had ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket with fries, mac&cheese, and corn bread. It was a feast.

That looks good except for the stuff on the burger, it looks like ketchup, mustard, and pickles. Yuck, I only eat burgers plain as I dislike all condiments.

I'm sort of the same way - the only things I like on a burger are cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce (but not ketchup), and lettuce or spinach (preferably the latter, as there's no "core" to it).
Tonight's menu: lowbrow casserole - diced chicken breast, Spanish rice, mixed vegetables, Italian cheese blend (mozzarella, provolone, asiago, parmesan, romano), and some cream of chicken soup.
you can mix vanilla creamer or hazelnut creamer with boiling water and get a real cool hot drink that you can't get anywhere
the places such as Dunkin Donuts only offer hot chocolate - nothing similar to this

Tortellini
Sliced cucumber
Sliced black olives
Diced tomatoes
Diced onion
Olive oil
Feta cheese
The combinations of textures and tastes has made this an outstanding dish.
Quote: billryanWe had twenty pounds of lobster meat flown in for the 4th, and one of the residents was making lobster rolls. I was in the right place and got to try a few samples.
That sounds wonderful. I had 12 tiny frozen meatballs today. It is not doing a good job soaking up the alcohol.
Try it Luther Vandross style next time...use glazed donuts for a bunQuote: EvenBobButter bacon cheeseburger and turnip fries.

Note: .instead of spaghetti and meatballs it should be "or" since the haeating makes meatballs more nutritious.

I assume you're talking about the yellow-and-brown object they're placed on. That's a plate. (Crate & Barrel Sol collection.)
I found these beans at the grocery and although they don't call it chili that's basically what it is
and they are very good - the other chili from a can that I've tried has ranged from mediocre to real bad
all you need to do is add some tasty ground beef and you have a very good chili
glazed donuts depend upon my alcohol levelsQuote: Ace2use glazed donuts for a bun
then slow cooked it stovetop in a covered pan with green peppers, red peppers and onions
she cooked the brown rice separately stovetop - the rice is better that way than in a rice cooker
excellent - the taste was like fajitas but better because the wings have more flavor than the chicken breasts
when I started eating Mexican food I thought it was weird that they gave you sour cream with the meat
now I like it, it works nicely with the spices
I took a high quality piece of bread and put some margarine on it
I heated up some Ragu spaghetti sauce in the microwave (could have used pizza sauce)
I heated the bread in the microwave for just a few seconds
I spread the sauce and some liquidy cheddar cheese on the bread
pretty damn good
doesn't compete with the great pizzas of the world
but it beat about 90% of the frozen pizzas out there
pretty strange (to me anyway)
I was in a restaurant in Paris ordering a pizza
on their menu, all of their specialty pizzas included an "oeuf" (egg) as a topping
I didn't order a specialty pizza, I ordered one with 3 toppings
and I specifically said, in French, "I don't want an "oeuf" on my pizza
I got an "oeuf" anyway
I've been obsessed with it since last weekend when I saw the documentary "The Search for General Tso" on Hulu.
It's not just about the chicken dish and the General himself, but also about how Chinese-American cuisine has evolved since the early 1900s.
Tonight's version was the worst — it tasted like they made it in the style of Orange Chicken but used General Tso sauce ingredients — but it was still pretty good.
Quote: jjjooogggInstant ramen with picante sauce
I also had instant ramen for my meal yesterday. Mine was a spicy chicken version. It wasn't very filling but it was just enough to hold me over until today. I believe we are eating out today at the Bootlegger restaurant and then meeting some out of state friends at Stage Door.
