Yeah, well, that’s just like, your opinion man. I prefer godfather’s. I think I’ve given up pizza though, I’m much guaranteed to feel like crap for a majority of the next 24 hours if eating 2+ slices, that stuff is NOT food.

As compared to most Las Vegas pizza, for a start. In much of the country, Dominos and Papa John's are pretty good alternatives to the local fare. Even before I changed my eating habits, I'd cut way back on pizza since moving from NYC to Vegas.

Does Godfathers have stand alone restaurants? In NY, the only two I was aware of were both inside gas stations.
Do they offer delivery? The ones in NY don't.

I had one of the best deep dish pizza ever at some fancy place(fancy to me) in California and now I don't even remember the name of it, or what city we were in. Deep Dish rocks.
I Just asked my GF, she said it was Chicago Mikes Pizza. Soooo gooood.

Never seen a Godfathers, CiCi's, Jack In The Box, or Little Ceasears in my neck of the woods.
I'd agree that mom & pop shops are almost always better, but sometimes I specifically want sh*tty pizza.

Yes. In the Midwest they did. There’s several of them in southern Minnesota anyway, which is pretty rural. Can’t recall on delivery.

NY style is that flattened out nonsense that some heathens call “pizza”? Uhh, yeah....no. That stuff’s terrible. Chicago style deep dish or whatever’s the new hip slang these days is where it’s at. Domino’s is more like that. Plus, Domino’s is just good ol fashioned good. It’s delicious AND nutritious. Can’t beat that!
But seriously though, Domino’s is good, as far as pizza is concerned. Get some ranch, a proper fork & knife, and go to town.

if you compare any chain pizza, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa John's or whatever to a real Italian restaurant or dive that features pizza they can't touch it

CiCis is crappy, it tastes like a frozen Toni's pizza. Never liked Little Ceasears. Dominos pan pizza with extra cheese and a little extra sauce isn't bad. I really don't know of any good pizza places here in Vegas with a nice sit down low lit atmosphere that has good deep dish and other good stuff on the menu(my GF will rarely eat pizza so it has to have some healthy options).
We recently tried Mezzo, but they didn't have deep dish and it was overpriced for what the quality IMO.
I don't know that I have ever actully eaten food at Pizza Rock. Do they have a good deep dish?
Applebee’s and Chili ’s suck IMO. It's all just super salty and low quality. They have a few things that are OK but it's not worth it.

Donato's is my favorite chain store pizza they are in the Cincinati area not sure where else.
The mountain is tall but grass grows on top of the mountain.

Pappa johns is, in fact, the best big chain. I'd go so far as to say it is solid pizza in general.
I haven't had domino's in years... Oh wait. Had it at the super bowel party. It tastes ok because it is pizza but it's bland with bad ingredients, just as Papa John says.
There are several Giordanos here. A lot of people like them.

Godfather's started in Omaha NE, back when I was in college. Not sure if that was store #1, but pretty sure it was among the first 5.
We went there weekly after we found it, probably inot the first weeks it was there. It was un-bee-LEIV-ably good Chicago deep dish pizza. Couple bucks each, 2 slices would fill you up. Can still remember how good it was, and not sure I've ever had better deep dish.
It was excellent for maybe 10 years after that. Not sure why they changed it: maybe they expanded too fast, maybe they were too expensive compared to Pizza Hut (no Dominos, Little Caesar, or Papa Johns then ). But they cheaped out or somethkng and lost their mojo.
Uno's comes close sometimes.

Little Caesars is downright painful lol. Pizza Hut is not good but passable. Dominos might be the smartest kid in the special needs class.
I personally only go to one of two local spots for pizza. Both are Italian family owned and amazing! I’m actually waiting for one right now.

I enjoy Pizza Rock in general (not just the pizza). Most of the pies are the thin crust type and are very good. The believe the same guy started Little Tony's @ Palace Station and I really like the pizza there (including deep dish style). They have limited hours and the place is kinda small, but it is worth a try if you are in the area.

Most nights I take a "midnight constitutional" to burn off the last of the day's energy and to prepare myself for bed.

The "pizza" that I eat most often is Totino's. I usually find them on sale for $1 and buy five at a time. I will eat three quarters of one and be completely full. Either the dog or the wife gets the last piece and I am only out $1.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I don't think the pizza insurance idea was bad. No one will abuse it. Who's going to want to damage or drop their pizza just to return it for a new one? So the chain is giving something away that they almost never have to give away.

Did they ever install pedestrian savers along LVB? Referring to current news of van running over 9 people elsewhere.

The Tito machine spit out some old 1993 20s. One might be valuable, C65055784A, G43247347C, L88888048F. Tried breaking a few more hundreds and it kept putting out new twenties, speculating someone was desperate to gamble and brought collectible twenties here.

I often wonder who the people are paying $350k for a bill, and how many of those people exist.
I know a guy who’s very wealthy and he has what is apparently one of the best or most complete Nickel collections in the world.
I asked why he chose nickels, and he said “I couldn’t afford to have the best penny collection in the world.”

The bill with all the 8s has significant collector interest, but it all depends on the condition. If it's not crisp and unfolded, it is more of a curiosity item. Crisp and uncirculated, it could bring 20X face or more.
Most US currency from the last fifty years that is circulated brings next to nothing. Even circulated Silver Certificates or the red sealed $5 one occasionally runs across are rarely worth holding on to.

Sold a comic book last year for $40,000. It was a 12 cent comic. Just bought a comic with a .20 cent cover for $1300. Will be offering it for $2,000. What it was isn't important. It's what it is worth today and more importantly what it will be tomorrow that matters.
