AGAIN, it is not between me and KJ. You folks still repeat this total fabrication. It is between KJ and the world. KJ vs. admins at WoV, BJTF, and BJINFO, many members at BJ21 and many other members at these forums where he has had these difficulties. There was NO argument between KJ and me. It was between KJ and lots of people. As an admin, I just tried to stop the fighting. I had no position, or even interest, in the argument. KJ insisted that anyone that didn't agree with him had malevolent motives instead of honestly having different positions. Like anyone that steps into a fight to stop it, I got hit (as did Mike). Such is his history on multiple forums. As for trying to calm him down, Mike and I invested huge amounts of time at this. Mike has posted his conclusions on this and mine are similar. Ken, the admin at BJINFO, just said he was tired of the drama and banned him. Seriously people, you just don't listen.
Enough. When you folk show a serious interest in listening, I'll return. But, it doesn't look like anyone here is ready to drop their preconceived ideas and open their minds.
Again, listen to Face. You are the members here. Contribute. Make this a pleasant place to visit. That's the way to get more contributors. You certainly will not gain contributors by presenting a hostile environment. And that's exactly what this thread presents.

The forum KJ posted before that (where he himself calls me Stinky Watten-boogie and claims I don’t bathe) has accused me of pedophilia, being a part of the “Jewish conspiracy” to fly planes into the WTC on 9/11, and the “Obama conspiracy” to kill tens of millions of Americans with Ebola, among dozens of other paranoid nonsense. And now they have started on Mike, with the suggestion to do what they have done to me – repeat his full name over and over to get high Google ranking to harm him personally.
Such is the life of an admin. Mike spent years publishing massive, free studies and providing a free place to chat. As Clare Boothe Luce once said: “Let no good deed go unpunished.”
Perhaps if you show some inclination to listening instead of repeating, ad infinitum, nonsensical characterizations and constructions based on no evidence, someone will answer your calls for information. Until then, you are just fomenting discord in the community.
I have a better idea. Listen to Face. Start posting useful content about the subject of this forum and stop indulging in rumor-mongering. No one is indispensable. Certainly not a person that has run into so much difficulties in so many fora. If you want this site to be a good site, stop chasing potential contributors away with off-putting attacks, and contribute. Ultimately, a forum is what the members make it.

You are the one that fails to listen.
Many here have actually asked that you show your good faith by posting in other threads and being a part of the forum. You don't bother to even try.
You simply show up every once in awhile and trot out the same old arguments that none of us will really ever be able to judge as true or untrue because we are not able to see any evidence. We are just supposed to believe what you say and move on. I don't think that is ever exactly going to happen, though less and less will be written about the incident moving forward.
Why won't you simply stop worrying about this thread and start actually contributing? If someone attacks you outside of this thread, they will end up getting banned, so why are you unwilling to contribute?
I'm not of the opinion that what occurs elsewhere has no meaning here. Others obviously disagree.

Perhaps some of it may be exaggerated but there seems to be some truthfulness there as well. From Qfit's recent postings, I infer that he is dodging the question. Again, I am being purely objective (well as objective as I can be given that a reader can be persuaded by a good writer) and that is my 2 cents.
I wonder if Qfit joins the other site, where there are no rules, and he and KJ get into it for all to see, would that not be great--a soap opera on the forum.

Caught back up on this meandering thread, and although I can't say I disagree what happened because it sounds like KJ broke an agreement where the punishment was being nuked. However, I'm very disappointed that the person remaining from this unfortunate incident has very little of significance to contribute to the forum so far. With KewlJ, at least I read something noteworthy on a regular basis. If Norm (His name is Norm right? I never heard him introduced as Norm here.) contributed positive gaming info on here (if he has already, someone please link the relevant posts), I would change my tune.
Generally speaking, I still also think the public shaming of "bad members" is a bad idea as I believe it generally angers the offenders more than deters the innocent. A weak correlation to this may be how murder rates in death penalty states are higher than those without it (probably a statement against the rules at the forum I moderate...). The main problem with the list, imo, is it likely creates more "sock puppet" accounts, especially from those that have significantly posted here that feel jilted. "Buzzard" = "ernestmiddle" called me out recently in PM for quoting a post calling him out and asking why the mods haven't done anything. In his case, I felt like he deserved a suspension for posts a few times against me when he was a member in a good standing, but never got one; therefore, I didn't have a problem calling him out.
Similar to another poster whose last suspension was almost a year ago and has a suspension rate of about 1 in 10k posts...lol But this poster also wondered if my g/f looks like someone 50 years my senior in my last TR posted here. My last trip to Vegas (Feb. 2016) wasn't posted here partly because of that post, and I again used the abbreviation "M" to refer to my 31-year-old g/f. And I can't imagine how many other borderline offensive things he (or Buzzard) has got away with. But I am sure other valuable posters that craved gambling content gradually strayed away from here because of general noise. I would consider myself in that group as well. I get a smile on my face when Wizard, ME, CrystalMath, Elliot, ThatDonGuy or miplet post now, and any other big math gurus that typically post with a good math question I'm missing here. I know forums can't be all about dorky math, but I'm hoping this forum doesn't completely devolve into a BS forum either.

That's not quite true, is it? It's against the rules to pass on private messages (seems to violate both rule 4 and rule 15). That's what you suspended yourself for. But, those rules don't cover passing on messages from banned members when those messages are intended to be public. By my read, there is currently no rule that covers copying the trash from other public boards and posting it here (as long as the source is cited). Some rule - 2, 4, 12, 15... - could/should probably be amended to close that loophole.

But that tmz site is trash, and so is that link with the stupid uboob edits...I'm not going to bother to look for the fuller video, not the shit that tmz or that site keeps stopping on and not showing where Hillary is really looking in that nanosecond. Norm is well versed in forums and because he was friendly with Mike he put pressure on him to deal with kj

My overall instinct is that neither are bad people (kj and norm) but that norm can best be described as nebbishy) not sure that's a word but I think it's Yiddish -

I think exposing the PM's is kinda chickensh*it, espesilly since He knows that Mike isn't going to sit and expose all the nasty stuff KJ may have said in the PM's, so he is using that to his advantage. I'll call it fighting dirty.
He said a lot of nasty things about Mike making him out to be some kind of bad person, all because Mike made a decision, one that many people feel was a bad decision. I dont know if it was a personal decision, a business decision or both. It can't be easy dealing with all the problems on a forum meanwhile trying to make everyone happy.
We all make mistakes, we are all human, no one is perfect and if this is the worst thing Mike has done then this all seems over the top.

I suspended myself for quoting MC's death threat, which was a public statement. While the situation may not have been directly addressed in the rules before, I recall suspending somebody else for it a long time ago, so wished to remain consistent.

That's why I said the gloves are off. I don't condone sharing PM's in a public forum, especially when it seems that KJ made his point and got a lot of attention and sympathy for his cause.

One must not forget, everything is second hand reprints, so the true validity and veracity can still put doubts in readers minds. How does one prove the comments are legit? One can say they know them, but then we're up to a 3rd party knows a 3rd party who knows the second party...etc.
