Bab posted Colts (+14) and you post Colts (+7) . . .
Babs posted Falcons (+1) and you post Falcons (-2.5)

Babs posted Lions (PK) and you post Lions (-2)

I'm happy to pick against Mission's line (it is current ) if everyone else is using it. But if people submitted their picks based on Bab's line then they have a legitimate right to complain if the Colts lose by 10, etc. And Bab's line is an easier line to win against, so if you are going to accept picks against either line, I want to use hers.

Which line are we picking against: Babs' or Mission's or either? And how will you rule when people complain that they picked against the wrong line?

Correct, and actually, only two out of the three people who sent me PM's had made any Picks. Here is the disposition of those:

1.) Indicated in his PM that he understands the lines could be different.

AND:

2.) Has already sent a new PM with (I presume) different Picks or verifying he is fine with his current Picks anyway. I don't know becuase I generally don't open PM's until I have made my picks.

Fortunately, everybody to whom this could apply has been addressed and my lines are the lines.

Missions lines are the lines that apply. I think that is always understood by everyone
I'm actually one of those that picked early
Last year missed a week due to forgetting
I actually resubmitted my picks with the mission line but all my picks remained the same

When somebody doesn't believe me, I could care less. Some get totally bent out of shape when not believed. Weird. I believe very little on all forums

Free advice is worth the price, but I sure like the Broncos +7. What a defense ! of 29 points KC scored, 1 TD was fumble scooped up and run into end zone, muffed punt led to field goal, 2 interceptions + another field goal. 4 punts of 40 yds or less= 2 more Field goals. So defense on the field was too much and only gives up 10 points while shutting dowm KC great running game.
Defense should sue the offense for non-support. Brock at QB has to be better.

Hey Mission! I hope you are saving up! Wiz was 1-5. Now 55.8%. It is quite an uphill battle for him to get to 60%. Last time I was this sure about a bet I had HRC over DJT... Gulp....

Friggin Titans... Letting the game get back to 3 points so while they WIN my -3.5 spread, and confidence, loses... Taking me from a 5-1 week to a 3-3. I'm apparently locking down this "average" thing. lol

There is much more competition for the Mr. Average award. It's my opinion you'd be better off aiming for You Suck award.

Another thought: How hard would it be NEXT YEAR to have a separate tally for the winner of the 2nd half of the season, kind of a clean slate to keep everyone in contention for another (small) prize ?

Hey, nobody has lost, yet (except maybe PlayYourcardsright, lol.)

Anybody can go 12-0 during two consecutive weeks (hell, I went 1-11 for Weeks 6 & 7 so that proves it.) And, if you were to go 12-0, you'd be right near the top of the leaderboard with another 6 weeks to go.

So, for those of us around 0.500 - its not as if we've already lost. Its more like. . . we're hitting a 16 vs. 10.

Actually, I agree with you. 8 more weeks to go, a lot can change with some good/lucky picks. But probably not for the guy in 1st place, I think he will still be there in the end. Or not !

Maybe the "smart money" was on the Jags (10 contestants picked them), but EdCollins, soopoo and I had the Chargers +3.5 and we are celebrating our thunderous 0.5 point win..

But don't ask me about my Bills+3 pick. Geez. When your pick is wrong by more than 30 points, it makes you question your entire decision-making process.

I don't know about smart. It was a dartboard pick for me.

I did have some hope for the Browns today. They were up by 10 early. But, no....lol. The bet Is still safe.

If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

I had my first losing weekend since Week 3. I had been slowly climbing back into contention, but this week set me back a bit more.

At least the 49ers won, so I'll be rooting for the Jags to beat the Browns next weekend.
