Due to Lay Bet minimums: I'm trying to crunch some numbers and deciding to bet $5 on the Fire Bet, and Lay $60 (+ vig) on the 4th number, Lay $240 (+ vig) on the 5th new number, and Lay $960 (+ vig) on the 6th new number. Do not lay the 4 or 10 if it's the 5th or 6th number.

Keep losing those bets that make up the HA (like Green on roulette or the push on the 12 on the Don't Come), and you'll be less likely to recover to 15 Losses and 16 Wins, so you may just want to reset your D'Alembert when you get back to the plus side by 2-3 wins (+$60 to +$100 in this example). I'm having fun playing the Field Bet. I got demolished playing the Don't Pass. I got demolished on the Field Bet in 38 rolls and lost $1,070 with a $150 maximum bet. I had a winning streak of $1,050 in 145 rolls just before this bust. Lost another $1,000 in 37 rolls. WinCraps is really hating on me again. I should try this when I'm shooting Field numbers at the table. This digital stuff doesn't seem real anymore. I could go from $10 to $40 bets in $2 increments with a $400 buy-in; or from $25 to $100 bets in $5 increments for a $1,000 buy-in.

6/8 Put Bets with 20X odds

This guy filmed action at a live craps table. He was betting on the 6, 8 & PL or just the 6 or 8 if the PL was the opposite 6 or 8. He would make a put bet with 20X odds on the 6 &/or 8, in addition to betting the PL with 20X odds. Those put bets would lose on a 7-winner and the odds would be returned to him but he would just tell the dealer to make his odds bet a place bet during the come-out after he lost and reset his put bet after the point was established, so he wasn't bumping up against the table maximum at that table.

Now I'm thinking some of the tables in my area have a $500 maximum with 5X odds on the 6/8. I could be betting a $500 put with $2500 odds to get around that low limit. I'd have to read the card real careful at the table to see if there is an amount of odds bets I can't go over, like $1500; and does the casino allow me to even make a put bet like this to get around their bet limits.

Another casino in the area has 10X odds and a $2,000 bet limit with a $6,000 odds limit. So I could bet $600 put with $6,000 odds there. That would win $7,800. Hit 10 of those in a hot hand over 3 numbers each and I'd be nearing a quarter million dollars ahead.

This shooter bought in with $50K and he's up over $30K in half an hour.
