The drinks in Vegas are free.

That is the illusion presented by the Adult Disney World known as Las Vegas...but it is a fantasy just like those created at Disney!

Stop trying to force reality on us!
I got a plan, we take all your picks we reverse them like one of those twilight zone episodes where everything is the opposite. You say "black" we go white.

Sad reasoning skills.

Oh really? Please elaborate, as I think he is right.

Good luck with that request. WmW seems to be hit and run in all respects. Craps, sports, insults...

Babs,

First Quoted Paragraph: We Libertarians do that personal responsibility, bipartisanship and integrity stuff. Well, integrity only if you choose to have it. Absent committing crimes, having integrity is really more of a personal choice thing. By the way, some 80% of Libertarians are totally against my views on healthcare and State College/University. I promise.

Second Quoted Paragraph: Come join us! Exactly what you said is why I will NOT be associated with Democrats or the word, "Liberal," anymore. Don't spend too much time associating with the Far Left. Some of them are truly disgusting and we would live in a society that is just as de facto personally restrictive as the Evangelical Christians would like to see happen as a matter of law. You seem politically active. We really need your help. Most Floridians are already cuckoo clocks, so Libertarianism has a pretty good chance there, I think.

Thanks for the invite. Chances are I'm more Libertarian than anything else - you and I compared detailed notes on this a couple months ago.

But if you have a group of people who are fiercely independent minded and anti-authoritarian how are you supposed to coalesce behind a leader? Seems oxymoronic.

DisneyWorld is a fantastic place. Universal too. And SeaWorld three. Love them all, wish I had the money and the local friends to go often. Been to one or the other probably 50 days or so. Thought I would go anyway once about 5 years ago, and bought annual passes for me and my niece to Universal. Guess how many times either of us got over there? Yep, that day.

SeaWorld had the best local offer this year. 2 park annual pass for $149, which included parking (Disney $20/day extra) good from July to next NYE, no blackout dates. Disney offers something similar but it's about 600/yr with parking.

I need new friends locally. And my ex-husband hated all of them on principle, so we only went a couple of times when the kids visited and we're young. Most others are too old mentally to be open to enjoying what they offer.

We were able to grab the Johnson in 2016, I'm sure we'll find a way to coalesce around someone else. I'm hoping for Bill Weld, he's pretty similar to Johnson and was the Libertarian candidate for Vice-President in 2016.

I wouldn't say Libertarians are anti-authoritarian. Libertarians recognize the need for police forces to the extent that people often need protection from others wanting to violate their rights, and further, we also appreciate the need of a military for DEFENSE.

Ringing the bell at the local tavern frequently is a tactic that has been proven to work. Depends on if you are going for quality or quantity.

Trying to acquire friends old school takes a lifetime, and you only get a handful. ; }

Disney World ticket costs drops dramatically the more days you go.

A 5-day ticket is $395 but for only $50 more you could get a 10-day ticket. Of course then you have the extra hotel costs, unless you live in the area, in which case you probably have an annual pass already.

If you're going with a group of people, one person can get an annual pass even if you're going to be there once, and there's a break even point where you start saving money by using the benefits associated with the annual pass.

There's all kinds of tips and tricks to save a ton of money in Disney World. You just have to know how to work the system.

That fact may have us adding a day to our upcoming trip. It will only cost less than $50 to add a day to both tickets. We already used our Military Salute five day tickets over the Marathon Weekend in January. My wife skipped one day that trip, so I had to get a 5 day and she a 4 this time.

Barb, if you're shopping around for a new political philosophy, I would look no further than the Netherlands. There the government stays out of your business in terms of victim-less crimes like marijuana and prostitution. Maybe everybody is jumping on the marijuana legalization bandwagon now, but the Netherlands was among the first. If not the first. However, they also offer their citizens generous health and education benefits as well as a comfortable safety net. The whole country is also bicycle heaven. I'd happily pay more in taxes to have what the Dutch have.
It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.
