I didn't realize that, no. It's a smart tactic, but didn't he also come out in support of Trump awhile back? It seems odd that he'd do it in legitimate support of one candidate and fake it for another, but maybe he's that calculating, who knows.

She has an opinion when she was a teenager, that she as retracted many times, Read her record of support for gays since, and her record of serving two tours in Iraq where she solidified her stance on LBG after serving with them, and out from under her fathers umbrella. I too have changed some opinions since I gained life experiences of my own.

I did read where she supported a ban on bump stocks and some other anti assault weapon additives. She at least served in Iraq for two tours so she does know what an assault weapon is. She had to put her political career on hold to volunteer for those tours.
AND,,,,I am not a democrat or Republican, I just have seen some things where I think she is the most reasonable of the democrats. But she will be banned because she doesn't support the MIC.

It was a good moment for Trump. It was a good moment for the women in white. The expected happened in the mid-term and it could have been much worse for the President. Instead of electing male Democrats, female Democrats ran in bigger numbers and won. It isn't like Democrats would not have won the House anyway. Had Hillary been elected, the House might not have changed hands and some of the Republicans that did not run may have also been replaced by women. It was a good moment for women.
That kind of reaction was anticipated and desired--it was an opportunity to include them in the speech.

Actually, I'm not certain that it will be the "silver lining" that you hope it will be...Trump is a horrible politician, so he could screw it all up, but obstruction of good legislation, investigations (some needed, but you can go overboard...as some did when the Republicans were in power), a prolonged and nasty campaign for the Democrat nomination, etc. could put the President in the driver's seat for reelection and even winning back the House and holding the Senate.
I don't think the Democrats need to "give in" and let him have his way, but they do need to look like they are trying to get things done. They need to handle the investigations that they feel are necessary deftly and not let them be the only noise in the room...especially if they find little to hang their hats on.
Politicians too often just do the same thing the other side did in their own way...no, they aren't the "same" but they really aren't as different in "actions" as they are in "policy"....
