I still think Grimaldi's pepperoni pizza is the best in the country.
I mean, a fish taco.
Grilled some raw mozzarella and added some bacon bits for a side dish.
Tucson is recognized worldwide for its cuisine so I'm looking forward to spending the fall there. No more driving twenty-five miles to an over-priced supermarket or worrying about my food sitting in the back of a UPS truck for 12 hours before it arrives.
soup spoon for scale ... could have picked much more. I have found they don't freeze well like some other types. I'm sure you could dry them, but, not happening
I am just going to eat them while fresh till gone. Immediately sauteed some, served over rice. I was going to take a picture of that too, but I got too hungry

No, I generally have a small quantity of meat each day with my chips.

LOL. I gave up cigarettes just for the period before my surgery. I am happy to say that I am once again supporting big tobacco.
The advice of the extended family is "if it tastes good, spit it out", so these are A-OK.

My Mom used to smoke a bit more than two cartons a week. Almost every picture I have as a kid has her in it smoking.
When I was about 12, she sent me to the store with a quarter for a pack of Marlboro, only to find out the price had gone up to thirty cents. The counter guy told me I could bring back the nickel later. She told me to bring back the pack, and I never saw her smoke again. She just quit cold turkey, with no preparation or anything. From two packs a day to zero, and I don't recall her ever talking about it.

This a major misconception. People think that eating/living healthy means your life has to suck

I believe them to be encouraging me to find new flavors to enjoy in a different genre.
Going to miss those hubcap sized Indiana style breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches.
High-fat is not a problem. High-fat is healthy as long as it’s from organic sources. Nuts, avocados, grass-fed steaks and butter etcQuote: DieterQuote: Ace2100% wrongQuote: DieterThe advice of the extended family is "if it tastes good, spit it out", so these are A-OK.

But you do have to cut down the sugar and junk-carbs (not all carbs) and eat salt in moderation
The good thing about salt: as long as it’s all coming from salt you add to food (zero processed food): add it until your food tastes right and you’ll probably be fine.
Many Americans eat 3500 mg of sodium per day without ever touching a salt shaker. Almost everything in a bag, box or can is loaded with it. Ditto for high fructose corn syrup

That's why I quit, in 1983 they went from about 65 cents a pack to 85 cents a pack overnight and I quit immediately and never went back. When I see what they pay now for cigarettes my mind can't accept it. All through the 60s my parents paid I think $1.99 a carton and then it went to $2.99 a carton and my mother quit. But not my dad, he did four packs a day into his fifties.

Very good people and I liked a lot about Iowa. Cold weather and the lack of high paying jobs was why I left. Besides, Vegas was a lot of fun for a 23 year old with some money in his pockets.
Love a sandwich with the tomato slices double decked, no bread in between. Sloppy as hell and takes practice to not have them slide out all over the place ... but devine.
Homegrown tomatoes are some of the most delicious things in the world*, a category of fine living in which the poor man might be able to exceed the well-to-do
* even so, they still need salt and pepper

Homegrown tomatoes are something else.
You can also try them in Shopska salad with a shot or two of ice chilled grape brandy or Ouzo after a long busy day. There's nothing like it.
