Within TV settings, there is usually the option to disable inputs. E.g. I disabled all the inputs on MIL's TV except 'Digital TV' because she kept hitting the source button and switching to a DVD input that wasn't there. Usually easy to re-enable within the TV menu system.

Yes, I can imagine it... it would just blend in with everything else. There are far worse shows on TV nowadays than back in the '70's. Look at almost anything on HBO or Showtime or even many cable channels. Look at movies, for crying out loud. Can you imagine something like Pulp Fiction coming out in the 60's or 70's? It would never get made. If it somehow did they'd probably throw Tarantino in jail once it was released. Throw a dart at any random R-Rated film nowadays and it would be the worst thing in the theater back in the 70's.
Can you imagine a show like Sex and the City coming out in the 70's? It would never happen. Or what about Married With Children? That show couldn't have been made ten years earlier. Heck, even something as tame as Friends would probably have people rioting in the streets if it came out a couple decades earlier. People from my parents' generation are constantly complaining about all the sex and violence and swearing in movies and TV nowadays.
If anything, people were WAY more "snowflakey" about mainstream media prior to the 1980's. That's when everything changed, with the advent of blockbuster movies and cable television. All in the Family is an exception; it was still controversial and groundbreaking for its time, and not even remotely close to the norm. Look at other top shows from the decade: MASH, Happy Days, Three's Company, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Brady Bunch, Charlie's Angels, Laverne & Shirley, The Bob Newhart Show, etc. etc. etc. That's about as sanitary as television gets compared to everything that came afterwards.

Just had a hand on 1/3 raised mid position to 30. 2 callers, flop is t j 5 and it goes bet 30, fold, me. I have no idea what to do. It's just frustrating, I need to study more/again

You may have the best hand and always show strength after raising pre flop regardless of what's flopped

There are others, but he is geared to live, low to mid stakes play. Most others are about high stakes play.
This had will depend on villain. Though it's a weak bet, I'd tend to just call in position.
If he has AJ or KQ some of his outs are in your hand, so less to worry about.
If he has JT, you have decent equity and don't want to re-open raising and have to consider a fold.
If he has KJ or QJ he might fold to a raise and you want to get more out of him.
If he has a set, you're pretty cooked, but you might still draw out. You can continue to evaluate as the hand progresses and avoid getting stacked, if you are at all deep.
Stack depth will matter a lot here. The less you have behind, the more you just have to go with an overpair. If people call a 10x open vs your AA you made a ton of EV preflop. They can't really outplay you postflop when you are shallow.
If you do happen to be very shallow, like $100 left, then just shove.

The girls flip the script. They drive around, they pull up to you and ask for business.
Seems really smart. If they get a cop or serial killer vibe, they can drive away.
It also seems a lot harder to harm or arrest them in their own car at a location of their choosing. And I'm sure they keep some self-defense tools stashed where they can quickly grab them.

I pay a company to do geo fencing. If you are in my set area and google my key words you will get sales emails and see adds when you are on a website. If you click any of those we get your address from your computers cookies and we will snail mail you flyers.
I recently opened my email and had to spend almost a full minute deleting unwanted emails. That is time that could have been spent curing cancer or solving the worlds problems on the internet.

I'm a troglodyte. Having to quickly reference an email for any of the myriad critical engagements I've got on the fire is a severe priority, which is why I don't give that email out because my 6 generation old phone and my increasingly failing brain can't keep up with a deluge of capitalistic horses#$% I did not ask for an am not expecting. So yeah, when I FINALLY get ahold of the feds after weeks of hours of run around, and then have to endure rifling through a bunch of rapey, forced upon garbage in my personal area that neither my equipment or my person can handle in an already high stress situation, yes, "reparations" are in order. A stout, open handed slap to the face would suffice.

God knows what I googled on last month, but I'm all of a sudden getting 3-5 ED emails a day. Nothing I've been doing online would indicate the slightest need for this including not being a man. But somehow I triggered it.

Luddite that I am, I sort of understand cookies. And having shopped for teeth, I'm sure familiar with them as I keep getting ads for incisors when shopping for intakes.
But that's sort of my shock and appall. This wasn't "an ad" (I specifically avoid Google results that have the "Ad" tag), nor was it the result of a bunch of browsing where ignorant clicks could've led me down an unknown path. This was a regular ol search result. Here's a bunch of marinas in this area, here's where they are on the map, here's the name and phone number. Hit the number and it called.
How can making a phone call - not clicking ads, not texting customer service, but just Search Marina -> call, result in my info being scooped and used for their own good? And by "how" I don't mean technically, but morally. And by questioning this I don't mean "give me the answer", I mean "Who wants to help me with all these pitchforks"?

And that's the thing. I can very easily think back these last 6 months and find several instances of "cost" being imposed unto me. GD telemarketers calling multiple times a day. Well, I'm dealing with federal paperwork here (you know what an astounding joy that is), I can't rely on ignoring unknown / non-local calls. So even though I'm dead balls in the middle of this coat, I HAVE TO stop painting to take this call. And it's a GD bot churning out garbage. Now, since I had to tear off all my gear and now have to put it back on, and that strip is now tacky, my whole strip is f#$%ed and I gotta re-sand and do it over. That's 2-3 hours at $75 - $125 an hour. THAT IS NOT A MILD INCONVENIENCE.
Or I've got this GD 16g almost run, pretzeled myself half to death to get it over the linkage, I just need to get passed this bracket and....RING!!! Drop the line, the weight drags it all back out and piles on the floor, and would you like to save 5% on your homeowners insurance? I DON'T EVEN OWN A HOME, YOU MISERABLE TW@, AND NOW I'VE GOTTA RUN THAT GD LINE ALL OVER AGAIN! There's 2 more hours, this time at but $45 an hour, but in a position that's gonna cripple me for the next four days straight. Now I'm positively homicidal, about in tears with pain, and boy's simple request results in me barking at him. Now my whole day is f@#$ed from labor, whole week is f#$% from pain, and FOR WHAT?! For someone else to try to maybe profit off me by offering something I did not want bad enough to acquire myself?
Or a scam call about financial fraud is well done enough to at least listen to, and now your aquarium is overflowing onto your brand new hardwood floors that you just spend 8 days installing completely solo while disabled...
Or the credit card you never owned has been compromised, and in trying to juggle your phone you drop you brand new reel in the mud, your first $70 reel because you worked your ass to the bone for 7 years without treats, and you bloody deserve it...
Or the $12 Rapala you lost cuz some opportunist called in the middle of a fight...
Or the 50min and $8 in kitty litter wasted because they called during an oil change, not to mention the $80 ramps that got ruined because you had to move the car that shouldn't have been moved and they got ran over...
Or the 30 fish you caught after expending 3hrs of your day, that are now little more than plant food because they called in the middle of your call to the feds, and it got you so flustered you forgot and left them in the bucket for 90min...
Or the time they called after the first bead, threw you off, and you totally forgot about heat creep. Now you went and welded the whole f#$%ing thing on crooked so the GD bolts don't line up, so you have to cut the entire 4' of bead right the f#$% out, regrind everything back true, and start from the beginning...
This is just 2019 and what I can remember off the top of my head. If anyone here works at one of these places or know of their location, I need a phone number and a physical address post haste.

It had nothing to do with the call. It was the search engine. Tou probably used Google. Could have been bing too. My recommendation is to search on incognito mode.

The call from the feds is my personal responsibility. It represents not only the securement of my employment, but also the act and payment of reattaching my arm, as well as the securement of monies for same. It is more important than all the other gripes combined, as I'm sure you can see.
But, while I agree that no one is responsible for my very real inability to function in modern society, so too am I under no order to be exposed to it without consent. I don't break down and demand action because I wanna watch the Leafs but there's too many people in the arena. I don't force others to suffer my pet dander because he makes me feel better out in public. I don't politic to get WoVCoN moved to The M because the Strip breaks my mind, and I don't ride the plane in full recline because my four crushed disks don't GAF about your leg room. Really, I think if you review my 10yr body of work here, the only thing you'll find me demanding is to be left the eff alone, and even then only in situation where I have that right (I've no right to bitch about post replies or member disputes, what with posting publicly and being Green, for example).
And that's kinda what this boils down to, billr, and why I'm having such a severe reaction to something so insignificant. Call it what you want; off, broken, retarded, differently abled, I don't really care. But I recognize my issue as well as recognize there is no hope for me; there's no TBI-b-gone from the Bayer's and Merck's of the world. Alls I can do is manage best I can, and to both keep my difficult life smooth as well as keep the publics lives free of my violence, I choose a life of solitude and isolation. It's the only way I can cope, the only way I can make it in this life on somewhat of a straight and productive path. Food, air, water, shelter...and like 6th or 7th for me is solitude. It's as important to my wellbeing as networking is to your comic sales.
I'm not asking for your tax dollars. I don't need therapy, I don't need a new social services building, I don't need welfare, WIC, STAR, don't need you to pay for my meds, don't need you to donate to a cause, don't need your awareness, attention, or a single electron of your energy. All's I need is to be left the eff alone. And, apparently, that's both too much to ask and also makes me a failure.
T'ain't right, my friend. We are human, we have a right to security. Doubly so when one's right imposes not one single thing upon another.
