No, it does not. By the way, in the collectibles world ,the term good actually means pretty bad.
Poor-Fair--Good-Very Good- Fine-Very Fine- Near Mint -Mint. is a typical grading scale.
A 1969 Jackson in Good is a sub $100 card. One in Minty Mint Plus might go into the thousands. My RJ is a graded 7.
A few of the variant color cards are insanely priced. I have a few, all bought as normal cards before people started chasing them.

According to psacard.com, a mint 9 Jackson is currently worth $15,000. You can disagree , but that’s what it’s listed at right now

Awe geeeez, do you understand the grading system he just explained to you? A 9 is vastly superior and much rarer to something called only good.

That's pretty damn good. My favorite kind of "prank" is where the target is the person who's doing something bad. Kinda like on another video where they supposedly tie a rope to a bicycle at the top of a hill and people go to steal it and halfway down the hill it goes taught and they go flying off the bike, although that could be #fakenews.

Sometimes I wonder what I would be like if I had money. Over the last 2 days I spent about 3 hours trying to get the best deal on tires. I found a guy that just took tires off a car of my type 235 55 19 that have 8/32 tread still he installed 4 just now for $180. Brand new it would have been $895. Sure I get less time out of them but I will take.

Before the yeah but it took 3 hours of time. This was done while relaxing after a 13 hour work day so I dont consider it costing me any money for my time.

What does this mean? 8/32, you bought tires that are 75% of the way to bald. I don't think it is advisable to drive a tire all the way to bald. How are you saving anything? Maybe delaying a full expense for awhile.

I believe most tires are about 10/32 new. You can safely drive until 2/32 although few people that can afford it go that low. 8/32 on a second hand tire is better than most.

My mom just returned from India. She spent a couple days on a farm. The land owner was very proud of the fact that he split his profits with the workers 50/50. Nonetheless, they lived in huts with thatched roofs and dirt floors.

In the grand scheme of things, those workers don't have it too bad.

Still, when I have a Zen king moment I like to imagine myself explaining to a group of such people how unfairly life has treated me.

"Someone stole a bunch of money from me and now my net worth is only about what you would earn in 500 years of manual labor."

Anyway, used tires can be a really good deal, especially if you're not sure you'll be keeping the same car for a long time.

Clearly i am spoiled and fit into the category of people mentioned above. I am 52 years old and I have never bought a set of tires. If the car needs tires I just buy a new car because if the tires are wearing out something else on the car probably will too. i realize that it is financially irresponsible, but I like a new car every two to three years anyway.

lol that is funny. I also need to change my wheel hub. Gonna do it tomorrow in 30 degree temp and possible rain. Bought it on amazon for $51 and got it today after ordering it on Tuesday. Insane that amazon can do that for a small price of prime. Cheapest price locally was auto zone for $149 after a coupon. Pepboys wanted $376 parts and labor.

yes most tires are 10/32, some of the expensive ones are 12/32. The tires that I just got rid of were just below 2/32. I didn't realize that they were that low until I had to crawl under to get a ball that my son threw. I was like WTF, now I gotta get tires.

I wasn't really complaining. I was trying to say I wonder how I would be with lots of money. Would I still be cheap like this and want a great deal. I like finding a great deal. It makes me feel accomplished. If I had money would I have the same feeling, and would I even be the same person. Just one of those philosophical type of questions that I was thinking to myself as they were putting on my tires.

"Students In School Meal Programs May Be More Likely To Choose Fruit Juice Over Whole Fruit Or Milk, Researchers Say.

HealthDay (12/26) reports that when a given a choice, “students in school meal programs are more likely to choose fruit juice over more nutritious whole fruit or milk,” researchers concluded after analyzing “cafeteria register data from three low-income, Northeast high schools over one school year.” In fact, “when juice was available to students in the National School Lunch program, almost 10 percent fewer milks were chosen and about seven percent less whole fruit,” the study found. According to HealthDay, “the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children aged seven to 18 consume no more than eight ounces of juice a day.” The findings were published in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior."

--From AAP (American Academy of Peadiatrics) Daily Brief 12/27

This is yet another stupid study providing a finding that is obvious to most people. Kids will choose sweet over the more healthy alternative very often. So do a whole lot of adults. They needed to study that? Unless you want to go full scale and only provide the most healthy options, people will often choose the less healthy option. They do it when they are paying and they will do it when someone else is paying.

I used to drink tons of milk, many glasses a day, occasionally heavy cream. I loved it, especially chocolate milk. I had stomach surgery and now I have a hard time drinking it without feeling ill, same with ice cream. It kinda sucks. I mean, who doesn't like a glass of milk and cookies?

I did buy some gourmet salted caramel hot chocolate and its very delicious, however, I can only drink half a cup or I feel crappy.

I agree, milk has to be super cold, same with cottage cheese.

Ugh do you drink it at room temperature?

I don’t drink milk often, but if I do it has to be super cold.

You store it at room temperature. It is meant to be drank cold. I think it is meant for preppers and the like. I'm just tired of opening the fridge and not having milk for my cookies.
I used to drink an awful lot of milk. Now it is about a gallon every five days or so. Been trying to make a gallon last a week but what ends up happening is I'm out after four or five days and then I simply wait to buy more.
Ice cold is the only proper way to drink milk, unless one fortifies it with some 43.

Some typical milk drinkers enjoy a taste.

so I started something new - I'm into 𝕞𝕚𝕟𝕕 𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕣 𝕞𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣
I don't wear a coat in the wintertime here - so far I've been out there when it's been down to about 35 and I've been fine
I feel really cool being the only one walking outside with no coat

looking forward to when it gets close to zero degrees which it can do here - then my mind over matter thing will really be tested

I've done this for decades and as long as there isn't a breeze it works pretty well. Once the wind hits 5 or 10 forgettaboughtit.

I used to live in northern New England where we would frequently have -25 to -30. Many times I was out with only a t shirt and jeans and felt just fine. (Bear in mind we're talking about a pretty short time period here).

From my experience I do believe you can, at least to some degree, reduce the discomfort from the cold.

On the other end of the scale, when it's 100 or more I can't even begin to be anything other than hotter than Hades.

To acclimate to my first tourney, I went outside for the morning smoke in drawers and slippers only. 0600hrs, actual temp -5*F. Steam was rising off the ice, but it was graveyard still. Not a wisp to disturb the ethereal tendrils coming off the hard water. It wasn't unpleasant, and Im one who wears hoodies until the merc passes 70*.

Then again, I've been out in some upper 30s where if I had a button, I'd have nuked the planet until the whole thing was molten again. Cold weather's tricksy like that.

I'm not a morning person, but got up today to go look at a retail location I was told was perfect for what I was looking for. Was supposed to meet Agent at 9AM but got there early.
I'm looking to open a Collectibles/thrift store and told the agent it would be very heavily into comic books and related items. Told here ideally, it would have about 1500 feet of showroom with a large back room.

So I get there and see the for rent sign on the window. 1100 feet of space for rent. I look in the window and its all one space. I'd have to build out a back room, but it's simply too small. Not to mention it is directly next to Neon City Tattoo and Comics and in a pretty iffy part of town.

I waited for her to show up, pointed to the comic shop next door and the sign saying the total space was 1100 SF where I asked for 1800 SF minimum and explained that her services were no longer of any interest to me.
Back to square 1.

Why? I thought it was a good story. Realtors suck. We had similar issues when buying a house. Told her we needed x and x
She takes us to a house that had neither.
