So I think this story should be saved as a blog for easy reading. Just an idea.

In the 90's in MI they put in machines
that took used aluminum cans and
gave you back the 10 cent deposit
on them. But the machines couldn't
tell if the can was from a deposit
state or not.

So a cottage industry was born. Teams
would gather cans in Indiana, a non
deposit state, and return them in MI.
This was not illegal, all a store could do
was ban and trespass you. Some of the
more ambitious teams made thousands
a week.

Till 1998 when MI passed a law that made
it a crime. But they still kept it up for awhile,
until they started to go to prison for it.

That's one of my favourite Seinfeld episodes.

Not really, you could just copy/paste all the different posts having to do with the direct story and make them one blog post. I'm not an Admin and I know people are generally not supposed to do duplicate posts, but given the context of why you would be doing it (to put it in one place for easy reading and reference) I find it difficult to see why that would be an issue.

I read Candide a month or so back. I didn't believe a word of it, because it is a fiction written by Voltaire, but I couldn't put it down.

I am not stating an opinion as to the veracity of your story as I have no evidence or experience with your story either way. But, it is pretty simple to know that one doesn't have to believe something to find it entertaining.

Just to be clear, at what point is she admitting that she had knowledge of the robbery? From the beginning? Sometime before they took off? After? Not until she left the boyfriend? It didn't seem very clear in your story.

I'm just confused because she said, "I will pay you back." You also said she is off the team. For what? Leaving her Mom's house with the boyfriend? Why would she pay you back if she didn't personally have anything to do with the robbery? If her former fiance took an action without her knowledge, how would she be in any way on the hook for that?

You've stupidly posted your information on a public forum where for sure casino executives visit and I'm sure there's a chance law enforcement visits. You've admitted to things that probably violate Title 31 regulations. You are obviously not as smart as you think you are. ZCore13

Since I have discretion, I made it 2 days, in honor of MLK day on Monday.

Also, since I have some discretion, but I also have co-mods, it's my intention to blast this entire thread off the forum. I will give it until midnight tonight to talk to the other 2 (Face is unavailable).

I think darkoz has done a great disservice to himself and others posting this tale. I think it is actionable by identifiable libel by several people involved, since he's claiming it's all true. And, while it has generated a great deal of conversation, on balance it needs to go.

I am closing the thread for now, awaiting a decision.

Thread reviewed. For now, no further redactions (some doxxing was removed), and various bridges will be crossed if and when they arrive.

Looks like I can comment again so yeah whew I was gonna be a hoppin mad and severely disappointed if the entire thread had been blasted off.

It might have facilitated my leaving the forum. After pouring heart and soul into this thread I would have felt robbed a second time.

I am relieved I didnt have to make that decision.

Thanks for the support to those that came to this threads defense.

Just in case anyone suspected me, I am denying I was the guy in the Brooklyn Nets hat flashing all the cash.

That said, I don’t think allowing private pictures of anyone who isn’t a public figure without their permission, especially in this context is a good idea. Yes he had his face blocked, but where is the line on how much face is blocked?

For anyone blasting BBB, remember she is doing a thankless job for no compensation as far as we know. Protection of corporate assets is always job 1 for any management employee. She made a judgement call and no one was harmed.

Carry on OZ for whatever reason you feel you should put your personal issues out there. It does make for interesting reading and is a cautionary tale for others.

Look. I am not your enemy. You have put the forum at some risk - it was a question of how much, and what the owners are willing to accept.

They find the content more valuable than the exposure, and I'm fine with that decision. But it's my job to protect the forum from liability, and it's up to the owners, not me, not you, what they're willing to host.

I'm glad the content can be retained. I think you may have thrown some APs under the bus, including yourself, by posting some things you did. That argument holds quite a bit of water. But it's you that will have to answer to those people.

So you can stop villainizing me any time. Thanks.

Message to the AP's:

Since no description of how a multi-card play works is mentioned in this thread then the only fear seems to be the knowledge of its existence by casinos?

Or is it believed they already know how it works?

If zcores concept as described (90 people share in jackpots) is what casino personel believe then there is nothing to fear

Many people on here unequivocally stated that if 5 people knew the secret of where my safes were then 50 people had to know and probably more (EB specifically threw out the number 50)

As a truism lets agree with that argument.

5 people knew the locations of darkoz safe so 50 people knew and most likely more

Here is what may blow your minds

There are more than 5 people who know the secret of multi-card play on this site alone.

By your own logic the secret is out already

If I was a fool for believing 5 people knowing a secret makes it safe well then....

I personally am not scared. I know of a number of casinos who are aware of the play. And of me. And it does not affect what i do. Any casino that has done countermeasures against me I just overcome the countermeasures

If you guys are such fantastic AP's, I know you will be able to do the same if and when its needed

To paraphrase Evenbob (its from a few different posts thru this thread):

"Darkoz deserved what he got. Loose lips sink ships.

Oh and btw, i just learned how the play works. I have an AP friend who just told me"

That was paraphrased but pretty close to what he declared.

Does anyone see anything wrong with those statements

Well you guys must have a lot of loose lips

I didnt tell anyone on this site HOW it works.

I know of the existence of space travel and rockets. I have no idea how to do that

If people on this site are now aware of multi-card AP play that doesnt mean they have a clue how it works

Well continue the operation. Made a few changes already but nothing major.

Install best security system possible (even if I put money in another location I dont want people breaking into my house)

Best time to replace a broken pinball machine is now when I need something to make me feel better. My old one sat broken in my living room for over a year. Just ordered an Attack From Mars. Great game.

Perhaps high up on the agenda is plan a family vacation for sometime soon so all the "suspects" can rebond and laugh about this while on the sheer drops and loops. Im partial to rollercoasters.

???
The vacay isnt set up yet

My daughter will go along with my grandkids

She is not with my former son-in-law but he may come. He and my daughter have children together

My daughter's fiance was the one who did the robbery albeit he used my daughter to gain info - she was an unwitting accomplice. I know a few people believe she had more to do with it than that but absent any proof and based on our relationship to date (extremely excellent aside from these last 2 weeks) I believe her.

My current gf may come. Maybe not. Thats her choice. She and my daughter have always been frosty to each other

My ex-girlfriend probably wont come but I probably will invite her children along

I was out of town for the weekend with no easy access or time to a computer, but communicated quite a bit by text and calls with some involved about it. I'd like to thank BBB for holding down the fort, again, while I was gone. Let me just make a few quick comments.

I'd like to remind the forum that we endeavor to respect the privacy of not just forum members, but everybody. Even if something is a truthful statement and a matter of public record, doesn't mean one can try to embarrass or financially harm the person in question on this forum. I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone to do that to you. That said, some posts had to be redacted out of the interest of protecting privacy. Barb may have said otherwise, but didn't know at the time that I redacted a couple this morning.

Some have argued that this policy should extend to those in the circle of darkoz. I feel it would take quite a bit of detective work to connect the characters in his story to real people. There is enough distance that I'll allow it. If anyone involved does find this thread and have a problem with it, then he/she may contact me and I'll address the situation.

Next, it is one of the oldest and bets known advantage plays to play under other people's cards. I'll confess to having paid people to pick up my free play for me at casinos I don't visit on a weekly basis. Just part of the cat and mouse game, in my opinion. To those who think this thread is exposing a good play -- everybody already knows about it on both sides.

Finally, I found it one of the most entertaining threads for a while. Darkoz, you spin a good yarn. I know you closed the story, but perhaps you can give us an epilogue down the road.

Carry on and happy MLK jr. day.

EDIT: Minus the fiance naturally

By calling them and questioning them , and asking if they’d submit to lie detectors , you basically informed all these people that you wouldn’t put it past them to have robbed you.

4 of them were completely innocent.

If that’s me , then no matter what words of understanding are exchanged back and forth , the relationship is never the same.
Of course I’d say the right things.. “oh I totally understand you darkoz you have to question and consider everyone”.. but the fact that you considered I have it in me to burglarize you would be a cloud over the relationship forever

Thats always possible.

My son and daughter will be fine. We will move on. Its family

My former son-in-law I have apologized to. He too is family as he is the father of my grandkids and he and I did have a close relationship in the past

My current girlfriend ran and still runs part of my operation. Maybe things will get rocky in the future. For now we are fine. She came and cleaned my house a couple days ago and said "see, no one is cleaning your place as good as me. Im not going nowhere"

My ex-girlfriend is definitely not going anywhere. 25 years and trust me a lot of stuff. Through her marriage and divorce to someone else I was there. Thru my homeless period she was there. We have a bond together

If she wasn't a short-fused person (and I have taken a few black eyes from her) she and I probably would have been married. But um, thats for another story

and he's a professional thief than can get past high security safes?

It sounds like the daughter either
gave him house keys or told him
where they were hidden. She
either gave him the combination
to the safes, or gave him or told
him where the keys were. Easiest
crime ever committed. She had
to tell him about the player card
move or he never would have taken
them. If it was my daughter, that's
the last 'secret' she ever gets out of
me.

did you get your stuff back?
did you press charges?

(sorry, haven't read the 48pages of this thread)

The entire story is 7 posts spread through the thread. They are pretty easy to identify by my heading and length. You read the initial post already.

I don't consider what you do to
be real AP. It's right up there with
cruising casinos looking for money
left on machines, or scanning the floor
looking for dropped chips. That's
not AP either. I don't care how much
money you make doing it.

I’m sure DarkOz is heartbroken that you feel this way, may actually be weeping right now and will consult with you immediately on what does or does not, in your view, constitute proper AP.

I definitely would invite the ex girlfriend along. She was the one who tipped you off first about the Robber's shady past. And she stuck by you to get to the bottom of this and helped your daughter out. She could have easily took the lie detector test, was proven innocent after passing with flying colors, and then bounced carefree and not help out in anyway catching the Criminal Culprit, but she went above and beyond to help you and your daughter out. Inviting her along to the family vacation would be a nice thank you.

Darkoz and others who use this multi
card play say, heck, everybody knows
about it, all the casinos, it's not illegal
in any way, doesn't violate any Fed
laws, it's not a big deal.

So lets discuss the details, then. Maybe
others want to do it, lets clue them in.
It's not illegal, casinos all know about
it and don't care, why all the secrecy.
We discuss other moves, like card counting,
dice moves, hole carding, why not discuss
this.

For the same reason you don't discuss your roulette AP! The fewer doing it, the less likely the casinos will notice.....
