I have an opinion on this which is somewhat aligned to yours. Here's the gist of it....
The thread wasn't dead, it was just dormant a few months.
The thread was already light-hearted and trivial: Adding something of substance to such a trivial thread was never really much of an option for any of us.
I'm inclined to think that discussion of the value and nature of 'Nathan's Corner' would be best kept in Nathan's Corner, where we can easily ignore it.
I'm inclined to suggest that if a member thinks another member should be suspended, then that should be expressed as a PM to one or more of the moderators.
So. No suspension by me at this time. But then, I'm just one moderator with one opinion.
