Of course not. I guess I just wasn't thinking in terms of using the forum to facilitate a real world rule violation.
As someone else stated earlier, it can't be a coincidence that she gets suspended at the same time she's in Vegas

Personally I'm not for petty bans. But, if she did in fact make up a derogatory email just to send SP a message after agreeing to not communicate with him here. To me, that's just bat sht crazy and perhaps she needs some time off from the forum to take a breath.
HB sent me no such derogatory email. You are confusing HB and Nareed. The Wiz has addressed that issue on the DT site. My last communications with HB have been via text. They were cordial. We often texted about her health, my job, her music goals, Vegas, etc. She has requested that I not text her anymore, and I will of course honor that request. I did request that she not be suspended for her comment to me, the 'not nice guy' one, as I considered it minor in nature. The moderators felt the ban was warranted and denied my request.

Way to be a nice guy about being called "not (a) nice guy." I wonder if that actually helped or hurt HB's case. It would seem to have made her statement more wrong...
I believe one of those suspensions should be removed. I have documentation that proves I suffer from a split personality.

I still smell a hoax even though we are repeatedly told that she is real. I have no doubt that the woman in the photos is real. That doesn't eliminate the possibility of some type of hoax.

thank you for clarifying that. I actually have never read the rules. ~~gasp. I must have been mis-remembering something that was said in the past about PMs.

What's an example of something a member could do completely outside the context of this forum that warrants suspension ? I just reread the rules and not a single one seems to apply to the non internet world.
The bottom line is that it's the Wiz's house. There are "rules" but they are really guidelines and it is a benevolent dictatorship. He pays the hosting bill and he also depends on the advertising income to feed his family so really, any decisions he makes are final (and I fully support this).
So moving on to what could happen in real life...I can think of any number of events, mostly revolving around mistreatment of another (probably respected) board member in person.

I will be making one statement on the matter and not taking further questions nor respond to banter about it. At this moment I am working on version 4 of the statement and that probably won't be the last. I expect to make the statement public sometime today.

JJ has definitely "inspired" a lot of off topic posting here, and there has been a stronger administration stance on off topic posts in the last week or so. But, I don't think that hypothesis is correct. I would bet on some kind of violation. As to the actual violation, I haven't the foggiest.

I don't see any problem with hypothesizing. We are all gamblers, after all. But I don't have any other hypotheses, so I'll wait.
