I think the best idea is to create a "Nathan Miscellaneous Discussion" thread. Where Nathan just posts her random thoughts in one thread, instead of creating new threads for each thought. Then, people can block or not block that one thread.

There are many things not 'against the rules' that bring down the overall 'value' of the forum and should be avoided. The flooding of inane threads by Nathan is one of them. BBB has warned her many times about this.

To be fair, I only flooded like once and was temporarily banned for doing so. I created a thread that mentioned one thing and then 3 weeks later, I created a new thread specifically to talk about that one thing. My rational side even said creating he second thread would be a bad idea and I still went ahead and posted it. It was closed the same day. An Admin banned me for a month at first and then said he thought that might have been too harsh. He said he consulted other Admins and they concurred, yes, a month was too harsh but I still needed to be punished for that second thread. So, the Admin dropped it to a week instead.

Who's definition of inane? I just looked at one of the threads I saw someone complaining about and there were 4 pages of replies.
If nobody is interested, why not just let the post sit there with no replies? To me, replies mean interest.
System posts are worthless, but they are allowed. Dice control posts are worthless, but they are allowed. Weight loss posts are inane to me, but they are allowed. Political posts are ridiculous, but they are allowed. I could care less about someone's trip report, but they are allowed. But I don't complain about them being posted. I just don't read or participate.

Had Nathan not been advised about staring a bunch of new threads (many regarding similar topics) her post count would be only 50% higher than her new thread count.
It just gets a tad annoying to log on to the forum and see a bunch of new threads only to realize it's Nathan starting an inane topic (inane was a good description regarding many of her posts). It's kinda like spam, sure we can just all ignore it and move on. Hell, even some spam threads have gained traction.
Who cares? Apparently, she does since shes asked a number of times how to be taken more seriously.

There is nothing wrong with an occasional thread to something that shocks or is important to you. But it should be sparingly occasional
Once a year maybe. In your case probably nothing for 3 years. Keep threads to gambling topics relating to trip reports or reporting on a new game (make sure its new- dont say wow i just saw a hot new game called 3-card poker) or jackpots. Report on a new casino opening etc
Stay away from reports on how ploppies act stupid and probably lay off opinion polls. Those also should be used sparingly
If the thread is worthy you dont need a poll to engage us

I don't remember posting that. I wrote about a woman who killed her baby in an attempt to come across as more serious and was scolded for being morbid.

I have thousands of them blocked.
The first thing I do every day is block
threads I have no interest in. That
leaves 8-10 that I read and keeps my

If that was an option, i would have done exactly that long ago. We can only split threads, not combine them. And deleting is very sparing due to respect for freedom of speech.

Thanks. I don't recall that specifically either, but some type restriction might have been put in place last year when setting up the WoN/Nathan meet. It got pretty heated for a time.

Probably did have to be said at the time. Not sure whether it was Mission, me, or someone else, but I do recall warnings of some sort. Not really interested in reviewing 10k posts from that couple of months, but there was a lot of garbage and derogation flying immediately before and after, spilling into multiple threads.
As the Wizard said, I think we can (and have been) discussing it with respect this time around.

If all I did was read the thread titles and analyze the writing style of the posts, I’d definitely assume it was a female.

It was never a question until that happened. Nathan was a guy. Wrote as a guy, took a man's point of view, even continued it (and got called on it) several posts after he "admitted" to being female.
As to writing style, I don't know any women who would even approach some of the stuff Nathan says. So I think it's a guy giving us his interpretation of what the woman he claims he is would say, freestyling a character for his own amusement. Seems to bring a lot of click bait and junk posts from other forums to fuel the comments. Probably fun mining for new inanity.
But I don't care about the gender. So Nathan can continue to be female here, even if someone finds out she's a he, or a she, IRL.
I do care about the lying and deception, whether past or present. I expect better of members here, and I think most people do as well.
