Not many. I believe I'm way over expectation on getting them that's for sure. I watched a friend of mine play a lot of triple play today and he didn't have one at all.
Starting to think these machines are coughriggedcough :-)

I hate spin poker because I don't know what I've got or where it is unless I stop and take a look. It is the best paying game in a lot of casinos though, so sometimes I don't have a choice but to play it.

Dealt 4 to the royal happens about every 2800 games. So if you play 700 games an hour you could expect one every four hours or so.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

So I thought I'd try a little Dream Card $1 Jacks or Better single line the other day. For those unfamiliar, with10 coins bet 50.5% of the time the Dream Card feature will trigger after the first 4 cards and give you mostly the best possible card. If it doesn't trigger, then you play the hand as normal.
This game is what you want to play if you want 4 to the royal draws! I had played about 20 minutes and twice had 3 of the first 4 cards to the royal and the DC triggered and gave me the 4th card. Missed both times.
Then it happened - first 4 card were to the royal!!! With the first 4 cards, at that point I had:
50.5% of the DC activating for dealt $4000 royal. Coin flip for 4 grand!
If it didn't activate, 1/48 chance of natural dealt royal for $4000 royal.
If not dealt, still have 1/47 draw for $4000 royal.
So, basically the EV on this hand was over $2000 after the first 4 cards were dealt. I think it would be a great feature in this game if it would stop completely after first 4 card and then you hit deal again to reveal if DC is active or not. It doesn't do that but it would really make it better. If the DC activates it shows the DC logo on the 5th and audio says "Dream Card" and then you get your card.
So, what happened?

My first reaction was that he got the Royal, but then again this is the 4 to a missed... and he pointed out just how many opportunities he had to hit it (DC, 1/48, 1/47) which is usually a tell tale sign that he missed =P.

I played that dream card game a lot at Bellagio back in June. Not one time when I had a great opportunity for dealt quads or better did it give me the dream card. 50.5% my a$$!

No pics......playing some 100-play TDB, monster promotion (any AP worth his salt was there). Anyway, I get dealt a 4-to-Royal equivalent (3334X, or something like that). I hold the 3kind+kicker, I get 0. Okay, whatever, bad luck tough shlit. While later I get a similar hand (1/47 to hit), again, I hit 0. What sucks about TDB if you don't know is it pays 2-for-1 on 3kinds, not 3-for-1. Add insult to injury, I ended up with like 3 or maybe 4 FH's each time (expected 6-7 FH's each time....not that it's a huge difference).
JK about monster promotion....wanted the APs to have that "oh shlit, I missed a monster promo, wtf?" thought! ;-)

Bingo! Yeah, it was without a doubt my most painful miss on 4 to the royal. I've got a picture I'll put up in a bit of before the draw - when I still had hope but was deflated by not getting the DC. Sorry for the delay on the result.
