Are the multipliers hard to see on the screen? Why would someone leave the game if they knew there was a multiplier on the next hand?

Last time I was at Caesars in the high limit room a player ran out of money with multipliers showing. He went around to other players in the room to tell them about it and I think what he was hoping for was that someone would play, hit and cut him in on a jackpot.

I almost went over to the machine, but I was having a good run on the machine I was on and didnt want to leave.

This is a great thread with some great pics! I've had seven royals in my life, none dealt. With all due respect, if I'm going to get a Royal in Five cards, I'm hoping it's while I'm sitting at a Let it Ride or Mississippi Stud table. Still amazing to see, though.

Generally Mississippi Stud pays much more for the Royal than LIR. It's not about the 1000:1 or 500:1, it's the maximum payout limit.
winning streaks come and go, losing streak never ends.

This next one is taking a while.... I feel a monster session coming soon. Maybe a 2-fer if endurance permits.

I got the surprise of my VP career a few weeks ago at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. Playing a crummy paytable DDB at the bar (it was late, I had a couple of cocktails, forgive me), five beautiful cards popped up, followed very quickly by five "HOLD" indicators over the cards:

You are forgiven, but only because it was a chivalrous royal - ladies first! lol

Awesome! I love these unexpected royals because it happens less frequently then 2 or 3 to a royals that it's like getting paid extra on a paycheck or something.

"crummy" is a generous word for that paytable. But nice hit anyway!

Indeed. Thanks!

In my defense, aside from that machine I was playing 99.x+% VP games all trip (and hit another Royal that trip, too, holding four cards and getting the needed 5th). It wound up being a really good trip!
