What an incredible CON. So, here is the really relevant and important question: If the Wizard verifies the claims in the positive, are all of you going to run to the nearest casino or online site and play roulette using the "method" only to become filthy rich and start your own "Adventure" threads citing the day-by-day action showing + thousands in results??? Cannot wait.

Do you agree or disagree with this statement:

"I, EvenBob, can NOT beat the Roulette house edge of -5.26%."

You can just answer with one word, "agree" or "disagree." You don't need to go off on some lengthy nonsensical diatribe. Just one word is all I'm looking for.

How many times have you asked me this question since this thread started. Apparently you have an impaired memory. So I'm just finding new creative ways to answer it. As far as my edges concerned the casino doesn't have an edge. There, I just answered it again.

So the answer is A) Yes.

You could have saved yourself a lot of time by just typing out the letter "A" instead of multiple "creative ways" of evading the question.

I can't wait to see Wizard's math proving you can beat the -5.26% house edge in Roulette..... gonna change the world!

Yes, and this is exactly what you are supposed to be demonstrating. You have been claiming you have an 80% hit rate and somewhere between a 50-70% edge. <<< It's obviously not even you believe that absurd claim so you have since attempted to lower our expectations with some alternative method that could easily be achieved via simple variance. Hopefully, Mike sees this and has come up with a legit challenge that would significantly reduce the chances of it being simple luck.

There are so many alternative ways you could prove your claims of a high win rate, however, you have dogged all of those with no logical reasons or explanations for why you are not willing to.

It certainly shouldn't take that much time to prove a 75%-80 hit rate over 20 of your best guesses, yet you seem to have made sure to avoid demonstrating that. Obviously you would avoid that at all costs because you have since come to realize just how ludicrous and laughable that claim actully is.

I went on winter daylight savings time over the weekend so it's 4 hours now. When it's 10 p.m. here it's 6 p.m. in Las Vegas. And after November 6th when it's 10 p.m. here it will be 5 p.m. in Las Vegas. That's 5 hours difference.

I start turning the clock backward in February, the whole point is to keep my sunset time around 8 p.m. year round.

Before 1918 when the federal government set the official time you could go to the next County in your state and it could be 12 noon in your town and 12:30 in their town. Go to another County and it could be 11:30 a.m.. You can imagine the confusion this meant for the railroad companies, that's why trains were never on time. What time, it was whatever you wanted it to be. That's why you see clock towers in so many old cities and towns because that was the official time for that place. At noon the clock would go off and men would literally set their watch to it everyday. That way everybody in that town at least was on the same time.

This is not completely true. A city or town set their clocks to Noon at the point when the sun was highest in the sky. So for EB's analogy that the next county was 30 minutes different, would simply not be true. It might be a minute or two different.

It depends on the accuracy of whoever it was it who determined it was noon. Somebody could be off by quite a bit and people just accepted it and it was grandfathered in and not changed. So you had times that were wildly all over the place sometimes. All that mattered was that everybody in your town was on the same time, what did you care what time it was in the next town over. You never went there, and if you did their time did not matter to you.

What I hate is showing up to meetings and everyone telling me I missed it because my clock was set two hours late.

When I have nothing important in life that I just sit in my house all day by candlelight then I guess it won't matter.

The only meetings I have is with my cats they don't seem to be able to tell time. I'm retired I don't have meetings, in fact I very seldom see people. And I couldn't be happier about it.

Why have clocks at all if you choose to live by 'minutes past dawn' or whatever regimen it is?

I have clocks so I know when it's time to feed my cats. They have internal clocks and they know exactly when it's time to eat and I better have it ready. If I'm late even by 5 minutes they let me hear about it.

And when you periodically move the clocks forward or backwards by an hour, do you adjust their feeding time by an hour, too or do they have to just get over the adjustment. Or is cat feeding time adjusted by a few minutes each day.
If your cats let you know, again, why have the clocks?
You know when it's dawn, you know when you are hungry, tired, ready for your nightcap etc. You know when your cats are restless. I'm not seeing it. Why have clocks?
Do you have any alarm clocks set?

Hey, cut the clock tower guy some slack.... He probably had a lot of bags of cat food to lug up those tower stairs!

EB's "logic" is inconsistent from one of his posts to the next.

I wouldn't be surprised if his house has stairways to nowhere, doors that open into brick walls, and those rooms that make you look huge when you stand at one end and tiny at the other.

Earlier this year, EB was moving his clock back one minute at a time to keep his sunset times constant. This allowed him to go back one minute and bet on roulette after he knew the outcome of the spin. He deliberately only bet on the the known outcome 80% of the time for cover.

Now that he is moving his clock forward a minute at a time, he will not be able to beat the game. The challenge will have to wait until after the winter solstice when he starts moving his clock backward again.

Ahh, but remember, EB plays online casinos only.... if he plays at an online casino based in the Southern Hemisphere, where it's summer, that counteracts any Solstice corrections.

Plus, if EB is a Flat Earther (which wouldn't surprise me), he might not have to correct for that at all.

We are taking a break from The Challenge over the weekend and will pick up again on Monday. Mike is very busy on weekends doing Wizard stuff. So far it's been very professional very little small talk, it's nice to be dealing with somebody who knows what they're doing.

I am pretty much ignoring this thread until the challenge is over and it looks like that's not going to be anytime soon. It's slow going, and we can't do it every day. But at least it's ongoing.

if you could actually prove that or anything even close to that you would be considered a Great Man

your achievement would be hailed throughout the world - you would have done what nobody has ever done

I am new here so please understand my point. The poster here is the number one posting member of the site. Why would he receive such negative comments and claims towards him?

I am trying to understand.

Being the number one poster simply means he posts the most. It doesn't mean anything else. He gets so many negative comments because he claims to do something that math says is impossible.
