Personally, I'm done offering constructive criticism (that she asked for several times). Started with hints - didn't work. Went to individual issues - didn't work. Pointed out trends - didn't work. I'm not willing to get into any more arguments with other members over her (that she encourages by not taking my or anyone's advice, instead making excuses and continuing the behavior).

I have been a consistent Nathan supporter, sorta based on the "no blood, no foul" rule. But I do have to admit that I am starting to wonder whether she is a fake persona and that maybe I should care about that a little bit.
IMO, her "jump the shark moment" was when she said she was 4'10" and 200 lbs.
- It is almost unprecedented for any member of WOV to volunteer their weight and height for no reason at all - and for a female to do it seems to me to be "unnatural."
- And, 4'10" and 200 lbs is a body type that many females would feel somewhat defensive about and would certainly not offer that info nonchalantly
- 4'10" and 200lbs is an extreme body type, and 200 lbs is a round number. It sounds very made up.
Also, I do feel that Babs has a lot of "street smarts" about this forum. The fact that Babs is almost going nuts about Nathan is making an impression on me.
And weirdly, no matter what I post about Nathan, she completely ignores my posts. I have no problem with that at all! -but it makes me wonder if she is someone who was on the forum before I ever joined and is focused on interacting only with the old-timers who she remembers from a previous identity.

I agree Nathan's entire persona is very suspect. But as a personal policy on internet forums, I choose to give people the benefit of the doubt in these kind of situations. I think it is a bad look for any forum to berate someone on a hunch, especially from the moderation. I understand making factual corrections, but it has been going beyond that lately. Aside from the Wizard, the mod team has given Nathan a loud and clear message: "You can stay but you are certainly not welcome." - and that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Not really. Nathan is not the only low effort poster.
Here's what I do when I see a Nathan post - I skim it for 1-2 seconds and move on. Occasionally I laugh, and occasionally I shake my head....but its never more than a few seconds out of my time browsing the forum.
What I do find disruptive are the 3-4 posts that follow Nathan, complaining about her while continuing to add nothing of value to the discussion. If anything, all those complaints are just multiplying the garbage content.

In BBB's defense, I don't think that is her message.
We mods are human and don't necessarily like everybody. However, we do our best to be impartial and uphold the forum rules.
This whole thing also goes to show that we mods don't always agree, but there is always respect. I've never selected "yes men" for mods but for ones that can challenge me sometimes and bring some fresh blood and thinking to the bench.

Thanks for the feedback. Part of the reason I was concentrating on Nathan is she specifically asked for that. Part of the reason I'm done with it is it's been a net loss to try.

Nathan arrived flooding the forum with absolutely inane threads. If i was the boss (Wizard) i would have nuked him immediately. Then it turned out Nathan allegedly tried to meet a forum member and allegedly the forum member was where the meet up was supposed to be. But no Nathan. then Nathan tells us he isn't a he but a she. So Nathan admitted deceiving the forum but now claims to be a "4'10" 200lb woman". I will re-post one of my posts which is a mimic of the sum of Nathan's posts.

Yes, it's me. I said I had milk chocolate skin ,
not olive skin, brown eyes, and long black hair. I was very disturbed to see a picture I showed in private to a few people I knew online end up on a public website that I had never even heard of today with a bunch of people I have never heard of or were banned from here before I even joined. I may be a bit naive at times but even I knew this was serious enough to give serious consideration to getting a Lawyer involved and at the very least, sign up with an account so I could tell the Admins of that board to take that picture down of me as I definitely did not approve it to be shown on that website.

Her autopsy said she weighed 94 pounds at death. She had certainly shrunk as she got into her 80s, but I was surprised how little she weighed.

Attempts to respond specifically to her requests for guidance just result in her excuses and reiteration of the garbage. Misinformed opinion is offered as fact on a forum known for debunking fallacies. The barest hint of revelancy attaches some of her posts to a thead. No improvement observable or in sight.
And you want to encourage this? Really? I believe your sympathy is misplaced, and probably gaslit.
I would love to put her on block, and not have to respond to this stuff, from her, or from others. I wish I could. I wish all of YOU would block her. Can't believe the amount of slog the last month or so with the proliferation of inanity.
The infamous “Hi I’m Aimee” thread is where I believe people began to question Nathan’s honesty. In that thread Nathan (who at the time everyone believed to be a man just based on the name) was being flirtatious with a new poster who at the time everyone believed was a woman. Then, after Aimee was exposed to be a man, Nathan posted 3 or 4 different times with how creepy and weird and crazy it is for someone to lie about their gender on a message board forum. Very ironic

We have a lawyer as a member here. You should check with Mr V to get his take on the situation and see if you have a case.
