Here they are at UNLV. Sound a little rough around the edges still, but whatdoIknow, they look like girl scouts still.

Quote: DrawingDeadWhere do you "watch Dallas cheerleaders making the team?" A "sports" channel program?
Better yet, where do you see them exiting live after not making the team? The poor young ladies who were aspiring to be football cheerleaders may be in need of some compassionate emotional support at a time like that. Knew a guy who had the Las Vegas Hooters interviews/auditions scoped out that way, and his description was like bringing a net for going fishing at a supermarket counter. Not that I'd be that way at all; I just imagine being helpful if needed, mind you.
I am not sure but I think it is CMC. Country music channel. I don't think they actually play any country music.
Should mtv change their name? When's the last time they actually played music video? I can remember when that was all that channel had. I think it was road rules that changed their programming greatly.
Ah I see, thanks. Channels that I've zapped out of the list when I scroll through them on my DVR satellite receiver. Of course I can resurrect them from my channel list graveyard the same way I put them there if I ever choose to. And now CMT doesn't doesn't even do country music? That's good for a chuckle to me for some reason. Was it MTV that eventually reached all the way down in the barrel to put on "Snookie?" If so, I think that was probably the last straw that finally led me to assassinate that one so I don't even see if it still exists.Quote: GWAEI am not sure but I think it is CMC. I had MTV gone as well until we started watching Scream. I actually like that show for some reason. So much better than scream queens.

I haven't checked in in a while and now the sports betting and BJ forums show the posters name instead of the thread title highlighted at the home base of the forum. How come? I'd rather know what the thread is about then who initiated the thread. Am I missing something?

No doubt about it. They will. And it doesn't have to be hot or muggy. First the coating turns your hands colors and starts to dissolve. The chocolate part is next. Been eating them while watching football.

Room temperature might make a difference, or maybe a computer or something. Butter will be soft left out in the mid seventies, but not lower in the sixties range. So irritating, but the first point still applies. Not melting in your hands was a bad thing turned positive, but not meant to be literal. It is realm true good chocolate melts. Aldi has some good German chocolate I love for 99c. Get that instead.Quote: IbeatyouracesNo doubt about it. They will. And it doesn't have to be hot or muggy. Quote: lilredroosterJust came back from France. I thought I was being real shrewd comparing the exchange rates at different local banks when giving them cash. I planned not to use a c.c. card but happened to anyway. Don't want to sound like a commercial for citicards but using their card overseas saved a lot; about 8% compared to the best exchange I could get in the U.S. with my cash. Pretty significant. Would save about $160 on 2k purchases. Live and learn.
Yeah anytime I go to canada I check with my credit cards to figure out the best no fee one to use with best exchange.
One tricky thing that I found in Canada was the type of charge. On the keypad it would ask if you wanted US or Canadian. My wife was tricked by this and figured she should pick US since we are from US. Then on the receipt it showed the exchange rate.
This is my favorite video in a while. Everything in it, and everyone, has changed so much.

ICP must be in that town.
Not just the presidential candidates: no sir, there is a brace of other Bozos behaving badly.
Things will most certainly come to a climactic conclusion on Halloween.
This is no laughing matter.

I was in Tonopah last weekend. There is a cool old cemetery right next to the Clown Motel.
The cologne with the human pheromones really works. You'll get some attraction. I tried it a few times having hidden it mixed in another fine cologne and had women eating out of my hand. Kind of expensive as I remembered it and also embarrassing to purchase, so kind of forgotten about it.Quote: lilredroosterWell, the stupidest thing I've ever done in my life was in the 70s when it became news that pig sweat (pheremones) was something that turned women on. So I went to Peoples drug store and looked for and found a cologne that had responded to this news and claimed to be made with pig sweat. And man this stuff really stank. So I inspected it for a few minutes and eventually bought it as a female shopper watched me, probably bewildered that a male could actually be so stupid as to believe some shit like that. I doused myself with it and mingled in a few busy places and waited anxiously for the reaction. And waited and waited and waited. Another one bites the dust.

i Longest stretch since you started going, right? What age did you start, I assume you were 'near' legal age ;-)Quote: GWAETomorrow marks 14 days in a row of not going to a casino. Possibly my longest stretch ever. I actually don't plan on going this week so I might actually hit day 20.

I would say longest stretch since the came to PA. U guess that would be about 6 years.
Maybe you need an "invisible TV".
Does anyone have any cheapy must see things in that area. Hopefully it doesn't snow and we can't go.
If you don't care about the specifics of YS, the simple drive will blow your mind (assuming you're also a lifelong East coaster). I found pretty much all of western Wyo and Salt Lake to be breathtaking. Insane topography. And if you fancy Mars, exit YS in the north and carry on to Montana. I imagine Mars to look identical. Stop in Cody to see Wild Bill and pick me up a Super Redhawk double action chambered in .454 Casull. No wood, no stainless. Don't need a license, I'll reimburse you plus tip when you return =)
If you make it to Cody, only 3 more hours north and you can say hi to The Crimm. Bring your own Black Velvet =)

If he wants to head a little west he might run into DRich on occasion in the Bitterroot Valley. DRich also drinks Black Velvet.
There are arts communities and some re-occupied mining towns that are being rescued from virtual ghost town status.
You could probably ditch the kids at some art school in Denver while you did casinos at Blackhawk, bit of bus ride I understand. Daytime driving only if you are at all sensible.
I have been west of the MS about 18 times but never east of hoover damn. We are going to leave on a Friday at 6 pm and return on moday at 4pm. So really we would only have 2 full days. Thinking maybe going the other direction and see mount rushmore. Again not sure how the weather would be in mid November.
Just realized that I have been to Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas so I guess I have been east of hoover but never north of those so it's the upper Midwest I need to visit.
Can't honestly recommend Denver in November. Maybe if you ski, but it's early for the snowpack. Always beautiful, though. Recommend Yellowstone over Rushmore, by a little. Either is good, but really summer destinations.
