No heart attack but he did have coke in his system from a few days earlier.
Quote: FaceI just put in an 85hr work week, and that's with a day off for Thanksgiving. I'm looking at 90+ hours for this week, possibly over 100
Does the tribal casino pay you time and a half for a work week over 40 hours, or are they exempt from the labor laws that govern non-tribal employers?

Can't say he's ever appealed to me. The newest artist that I've taken a liking to is Five Finger Death Punch. Great stuff.

Haha I know what you mean. When I was watching the AMA's last week he won an award for the song I believe you are talking about. I was in shock when I realized I have liked the song since it's been on. A little piece of me died inside.

Thanks, Face, I've been waiting to get "the rest of the story" [if you told it before I missed it]. At the time it was too fresh and raw for sure I think. We couldn't ask, too much of a nunya-b

Glad to help. It's actually pretty easy to peel back html coding or manipulate pages into revealing things that you want.

Couple weeks ago on the CMA's Justin did a double duet with Chris Stapleton, was very very good. I feel sure you can find it on YouTube. And I've usually become somewhat nauseous watching Justin before. The world turns I guess.
I forgot to DVR the AMAs. ;-(
<edit> I can't drink you away. But I can try!

Tribal casinos are not exempt from NLRA at this time. That applies to both tribal and non-tribal employees. This was settled for now, in a recent court case but I have read there is some movement in congress to enact a law that would effectively reverse the court decision. Of course if they plan on changing this, much like they have talked of correcting Carcieri, then it will be awhile.
Quote: jjjooogggTonight,
I was in an attempted aggravated assault. Someone tried to mug me with a knife.
Has anyone been mugged outside of a casino?
Mine was outside our restaurant after closing, not near a casino. When I opened the door, She had the knife high overhead and demanded my money.
I closed the door and pulled out my handgun and opened the door. She ran away.
I was robbed at gunpoint by two women in Puerto Rico. They made me empty my wallet which had $40 in it.
I had 6k in my pocket which they never noticed.
I was pretty shaken up but felt lucky that i wasn't shot and also that I only lost $40.

Tueller drill demonstrates the risk of using a holstered weapon in a self defense against an armed attacker within 21 feet.

I have been wanting to get the hidden security waist wallet.
Deep Carry is best and each holster is designed for a specific make and model of firearm with a separate compartment for an extra clip. Never "prints" to reveal itself and is extremely comfortable.Quote: jjjoooggg

Damn, even if you take all the guns off the street they'll come at you with steak knives stolen from Longhorn!
Sure, I could do that

Quote: GWAEWatching Elf. Best Christmas movie ever. Probably the 30th time that I have seen it.
My favorite holiday flick as a kid was Laurel and Hardy's "March of the Wooden Soldiers" / "Babes in Toyland."
WOR in NYC only seemed to play it around xmas: loved it.
But hey, what a roomful of "geeks:" they far surpass the Star Wars fanboys in that regard.
Not that there's anything wrong with being brilliant yet looking like the most unpopular kids in the class: in reality, they're just grooming themselves for success.
Go, geeks, go!

Quote: jjjooogggI never solved my rubics cube.

The solving is much more fun when the cube is in the initial mixed up state. As you get through the solving sequences, it becomes just a matter of motions. Takes me ~1-2 minutes to solve, but I don't really care to improve it beyond that.
A 3x3 that is. I don't want to estimate my times for my 4x4 or 5x5.

Very jealous! That was one of my top 10 most memorable restaurant meals. I really need to try making that dish at home sometime. Got hungry all of a sudden...
That's fast!Quote: GWAEWas just on the news that a kid broke the world record for rubiKS cube at under 5 seconds. It takes me about 19 minutes.

Just finished some chicken-fried venison backstrap...delicious!!

Yeah, what a load. If someone's obsessed mental/emotional disorder would just lead them to create a dozen online forum personalities instead, then that'd only be about 12,000 or so to post by each version of him, and her, and it, and him, and so on...Quote: GWAEI am on another forum that the top postor has 144,000 posts. That is just crazy, not sure how one could type that much.
Plus, they'd be sure to 'win' any online polls for their 'right' answer.
