Quote: WizardI just made a rather large wager today. Without betraying my side, which of the following is required to be a Playboy Playmate?
A) Must appear as a centerfold model.
B) Any model in Playboy, including covers and pictorials like Girls of the Pac-10.
I always thought the centerfold model was the Playboy Playmate. Did you mean play me of the year? They pick from the 12 centerfold Playmates
Quote: billryanPretty sure it is A. To be a bunny you had to work in a Playboy Club.
I knew a girl who was a Playboy bunny in Chicago in the seventies. She said it was one step above being a hooker, for a lot of them they were hookers. Good money though. The tips were outrageous,

I knew several Bunnies from the NY Club and the Great Gorge resort. My impression was they could lose their job if management got a sniff of them hooking. As an example, Bunnies weren't allowed in the resort when they weren't working or allowed in the guest wings ever. Most of the NY Bunnies seemed to be models and or actresses.

This sounds more correct. Last thing Playboy executives needed was accusations of running a brothel.
EB likes to make statements that are, for lack of a better term, binary negative!
"One step above being a hooker" (EB words) means you are NOT a hooker. But he puts it in such negative terms that he is practically saying they were (while maintaining truthfully that they aren't)
He does that with AP maneuvers too. He will say using other people players cards is one step above illegal or just skating above the law. Lol, just skating ABOVE THE LAW? Translation:. It's not illegal!

The Playboy Club strictly enforced this with undercover detectives who would offer hundreds of dollars in exchange for sex, immediately firing any Bunny naïve enough to accept.

LOLOL that's the official version so it must be true. Want to find out the real truth, talk to women who were there living it. Like I did. Of course the official version is, move on, nothing to see here. When the real version is something entirely different.

Fifty years later and the only man these women have spoken to is EB.
Of course it's obvious that EB parties with Playboy bunnies(don't we all?). They are going to be attracted to the guy who always wins at Roulette

I have no doubt some of them were sleeping with some of the rich and powerful clientele hoping to get ahead.
Whatever the case, I choose to believe some known credible sources over some dude on the internet who heard something from someone decades ago, especially when he himself has made some unbelievable claims about beating roulette and whatnot.

I guess that did have to do with gambling. I just kind of skimmed the last few pages doing, 'Thank Yous,' and didn't really read anything because I saw, "Playboy," a bunch of times. I guess I'm just salty about the one rule I don't like, which is no profanity, even though sex is profane and gets talked about sometimes.
Mike's house, Mike's rules, I agree with that 100%. It's more that the, "No profanity," rule annoys me than the fact that people talk about sex stuff.

Sex is profane? That alone could be controversial.
I never realised, but we have religion woven into the rules. I wonder if that was intentional. No. Really, I never realised the rules had a religious aspect.

profane
[ pruh-feyn, proh- ]
adjective
characterized by irreverence or contempt for God or sacred principles or things; irreligious.
not devoted to holy or religious purposes; unconsecrated; secular (opposed to sacred).
unholy; heathen; pagan:
...
Well Beggar me Back'ards! $:o)
And if we discuss this, we break the rules. Oh hum. Tread carefully.
The NYC Club did not allow bunnies to dance with customers, while the Resort in Great Gorge had a segregated portion of the dancefloor where bunnies could dance with customers under the watchful eyes of a matron.
I don't know what is in the location today, but a half dozen bars tried to make it in portions of the club and none lasted very long.

Well two things.
1) EDITED FOR CONTENT
Okay one thing since the religious sex stuff is off limits
2) Mission, So you not only thank every post but you don't actually read the ones you do thank? I don't know why but that annoys me.
Quote: Mission146I don't see what this has to do with gambling unless someone wants to Book some lines on what STDs any of these given Playboy models might have.
First, I want to start by saying that is a very judgmental thing to say.
Second, I said in the OP that a large wager was involved.
Third, there is no rule that every post must be gambling related. The gambling in James Bond movies thread has turned into some fun James Bond trivia, that is not necessarily on the casino scenes, and I have absolutely no problem with that.
Fourth, if anyone wishes to officially press charges on me for that most, go ahead. I will let the other mods impose sentence and respect their decision.
Fifth, and this has more to do with a darkoz post, one doesn't need to avoid even touching very lightly against something of religious nature. One can even quote a religious text if it is relevant to a discussion. However, one can't promote or attack any religion.
Quote: WizardOne can even quote a religious text if it is relevant to a discussion. However, one can't promote or attack any religion.
"He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves." No Bingo tonight!
A large wager on something that can be googled? Wooo.Quote: WizardSecond, I said in the OP that a large wager was involved.
Anyway.... As Wizard says this is a misc thread. I'm sure we are all relaxed here. All light hearted in those recent posts, as far as I see it.
Respect!Quote: Mission146There’s no way to make my point in a way that won’t result in Suspension, so I’m just going to drop it. Some would call me a prude anyway, so whatever.
charges? Sentence? You posted a misc post in a misc thread.Quote: WizardFourth, if anyone wishes to officially press charges on me for that most, go ahead. I will let the other mods impose sentence and respect their decision.
No issue. I can't see anyone yet even trying to make one.
So, it begins.....
You have been warned!
Quote: Mission146My line was more to do with multiple pages about a pornographic publication, but no cussing allowed.
I believe the discussion of the pornographic publication was circumspect, and squarely clear of the rule 6 requirements.
It is much more challenging to discuss profanity without using or citing profanity.

Designing handbags apparently. Still asking myself why he is important.

He so strongly alluded to it being EvenBob in the picture that we might forever see that guy's face when EB's user Id appears. EB missed an opportunity of comedy gold too: He should have made a sideways complaint about the doxxing and then I'd have rounded it up with a joke suspension.

I’ll take the Suspension, if necessary.
How is objectifying women fine by discussing a publication that does exactly that, but using cuss words is not fine?
Oh, and then I can’t discuss someone at a casino being a rectal cavity using my preferred nomenclature, but discussion of who does or doesn’t do what on OnlyFans is fine?

I feel I am bound by the letter and the spirit of the rule.
Pornographic images and text are prohibited. (R6)
Cuss words are prohibited. (R6)
Personal insults are prohibited. (R1)
Objectification of women (and men, and...) has not (yet) been precluded by rule. Strip clubs, skin mags, and brothels are lawful institutions, so R8 compliant. Limited, incidental discussion of same is not precluded.
In the event of an objection, I feel bound by a tribunal consensus on Rule 0 grounds.
If someone does have their ears up their hiney, I hope that your talented vocabulary can rise to the occasion.

Wouldn't saying "me too" to a woman be an insult (in the context of trying to have a date and sexual relationship)?
Isn't the me too movement about women speaking up about having been raped or molested?

Most standards change over the course of the night, in relation to the amount of alcohol consumed. It's amazing how many 9s and 10s are around at closing time.
