But as a courtesy, Gwae could talk to them and laugh over how careless he's been in not cashing it yet, or just give them a heads up in some other way.
But Hell Yeah. Cash it whether or not.

Not sure if there’s any Seinfeld fans here. But there’s a funny episode where Kramer finds a bunch of old birthday checks that Jerry’s grandmother had sent him , and convinces Jerry to deposit them all. It ends up getting his grandmother in trouble with the bank

I had lower back pain from mowing. I tried the inversion table. It didnt work. I tried a new device that has more decompression force. It has helped me overcome lower back pain from riding lawn mower. It is worth trying compared to expensive chriopractors or conventional medicine.

It's been said the team was going to spend upwards of fifty million improving the
parcel but reports are it is well behind schedule and appears to have been scaled back a bit.
So today, the Raiders have sold the uncompleted parcel for $191 million and have leased it back. Lease runs twenty years with possible extensions that would take it out to 99 years.

I had a spinal fusion about six months ago and I feel great now. Everybody tried to talk me out of doing it, but I am glad I did,
Why don't you just use Craigslist to find a beater car? I've had really good success finding people cars on CL. I have found some really good deals. At the price range you are talking about you're definitely going to be gambling a little, but there are certain things you can ask and look for that will improve your odds. If it's way too good to be true, it probably is. There's lots of bait ads are the personal email and information I guess. I Only deal with people that have an actual phone number that you can call.Quote: GWAEDoes anyone have experience with shopping used cars on facebook. I can not figure out what is going on. I am looking to buy a beater for 1500ish. I look on facebook marketplace and there are cars that appear to qualify. When I click on it, there isnt much info. So I click on sellers info and the seller has the same car posted in 30 cities. Did their page get hacked, if so what is the purpose? Are they trying to drive page views to their site? I just cant figure out what is happening. Below is an example of one.

FYI OBD readers are cheap and so is the torque app.

Yeah, I actually just last month bought a Chevy Equinox 07 from someone on there for $2.6k. It's generally driven well, though both the gas gauge and thermostat are off and the CD player doesn't work. Working seat warmers, AC, and everything else.
Why would anybody need a CD player nowadays? Or are you saying the entire sound system doesn't work?Quote: MintyYeah, I actually just last month bought a Chevy Equinox 07 from someone on there for $2.6k. My lovely lady made me a few mixed CDs when we started dating. I tend not to like new music when it comes out, but I can always appreciate my 70-80s and early 2000s music!

hopefully that can't happen now because of our greater skills and knowledge but who knows?
Kansas hospital 1918:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_flu
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_flu
When WW1 ended, thousands of ill soldiers came home and mixed with the civilian populations, spreading it rapidly.
Philadelphia insisted on holding a parade and invited hundreds of soldiers to march in it. Within a month, Philadelphia was, by far, the City that the flu hit the hardest. The strange thing was that in the city, the flu literally disappeared over night. 5,000 people died one week, but two weeks later there were zero fatalities.
The government was told it would be best to leave the soldiers in quarantine but rejected it. When a newspaper in Philadelphia printed a.story linking the flu to the returning soldiers, the Government shut them down for sedition.
Another strange thing is that the flu was especially deadly in the Pacific. In Western Somoa, almost a third of the adult male population died, yet there was not a single fatality in American Somoa. In New Zealand and Australia, the native populations died at a rate ten times that of the Europeans who lived there.
Why would anyone want to use CDs nowadays? I just bluetooth my phone to my car stereo and then tell google what song I want to hear, or I just autoplay my playlist.Quote: TigerWuTo...to play CDs??

pop radio is so bad so I started listening to classical - we have 2 excellent classical music stations in my area
it has a calming effect when you're facing ugly traffic
I had never been a big fan of classical music but I am now
I don't like all of it but some of it is great
I had really missed out all those years by ignoring it
I've learned a lot about it and now in my tutoring I teach some of my students about it
despite all the tech advances FM radio still seems to be pretty strong - lots of stations - lots of bad, bad modern pop thriving
and why the thread entitled "Wixiplay" which has only 2,054 views and 34 replies has 5 stars?
I don't get it - at all
how is this determined or calculated?

Do many $1500 cars come with blue tooth?
Quote: AxelWolfWhy would anyone want to use CDs nowadays?
Because CDs still exist? Am I supposed to just throw out all of my CDs just because some newer technology comes along?
Quote:I just bluetooth my phone to my car stereo and then tell google what song I want to hear, or I just autoplay my playlist.
How many cars have bluetooth? Mine doesn't. My wife's doesn't. Why do I need google and playlist? I just pop a CD in my radio and I'm ready to go. No fuss, no muss. I don't have to fumble around with wires, or data plans, or bluetooth, or downloading, or spotify subscriptions, or whatever the flavor of the month technology is that's going to be obsolete in year or two anyway.

Do you still use VHS tapes? Cassettes? 8tracks?
Quote: billryanDo you still use VHS tapes?
I would if I had a working VCR. I still have about 15 or 20 tapes of rare and cult movies that aren't on any other format that I'm aware of (but honestly I haven't checked in a while - some of them might be on DVD or bluray by now).
Quote:Cassettes?
Yes. Listened to some Christmas music on cassette a few months ago.

Never owned an 8 track or any 8 track tapes.
Oh, I also still listen to records, too.

One-hit-wonder of the month. Hope that girl is saving her money. She'll be forgotten by the end of the year.
I don't know ,but I certainly wouldn't count this chick out. From what I understand, she didn't just throw something together and get lucky (like Rebecca Black). It looks like she has been pounding the pavement for a little while and doing what it takes.Quote: TigerWuOne-hit-wonder of the month. Hope that girl is saving her money. She's the complete opposite of the hot female pop stars of today. She's definitely got a unique and interesting voice. I just don't know if that can make up for hotness. She will be limited to what kind of products and other things she can advertise for. If she only cares about making and selling music, I think she'll do just fine.

No
from the article:
"The lawyer, Caleb Kenyon, dug around and learned that the notice had been prompted by a “geofence warrant,” a police surveillance tool that casts a virtual dragnet over crime scenes, sweeping up Google location data — drawn from users’ GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and cellular connections — from everyone nearby.
The warrants, which have increased dramatically in the past two years, can help police find potential suspects when they have no leads. They also scoop up data from people who have nothing to do with the crime, often without their knowing ─ which Google itself has described as a "significant incursion of privacy."

I hadn’t heard the song until I looked it up just now. She has a really interesting voice, I hear Rosario Dawson when she sings which was why her appearance (white not Latina) was surprising to me.
As far as her looks, yes she is not attractive in any way but talent goes a long way if you work hard.
I'm certainly not going to be running out to buy(steal) her music, but, I can imagine there's a great many people who will be interested in her stuff.Quote: rxwineTo each his own. Maybe if I was high and in a dance club.

We need an app that will replace unattractive actors and singers, or ones you just don't like with replacements.
Then pokergrinder can have all of his movies starring Justin Bieber or Richard Simmons.
I'm serious about an app/ program like that.

Who would your main pick be? Male and female.

I noticed that, too.... it somehow makes it look even more fake and silly. I think it would be awesome if instead of wrestling, they showed a bunch of behind the scenes stuff. Them training, practicing, working on storylines, whatever. Everyone knows it's fake anyway, so it would be a nice change of pace instead of just putting on a show for an empty arena.

Good point. I've always wondered to what degree it is scripted. There may be a hundred separate 'moves' in a match. Obviously the finishing sequence is definitively scripted. But I wonder if the script may be as simple as "Dolph, you get pummeled for two minutes at the beginning, Randy, you deliver two RKO's, you guys trade suplexes, then we play Lana's music to distract Randy... Dolph pins him. Fill in three extra minutes of near pins."
I seem to recall some humorous revelations that arose from a lawsuit when a player sued for loss of his earning power after his opponent failed to follow the script properly.Quote: SOOPOOGood point. I've always wondered to what degree it is scripted.
