The point being that in every income tax bracket you will find scammers. Whether you are exploiting welfare programs, avoiding reporting income, or hiding money you are cheating uncle Sam. Even SooPoo was trying to get out of paying New York tax by establishing 'residency' in PA. But it's still being dishonest. Maybe the same way all the people who formerly supported border barriers suddenly stopped liking them...
It isn't about what is good for the country; it is about exerting power.
Private Bone Spurs claimed he would have made a great general. Also insulted Mattis after he was out the door. Also claimed he was sitting in the WH by himself, lonely over Christmas, because nobody else wanted to work. Also admired a giant poster of himself looking tough, on the conference table. All that during a Cabinet meeting that went 1 hr. 40 min. of ridiculous kowtowing and butt-kissing during a brag session of bs.
I have been to meetings with Cabinet members. (Not with the President). If there was even 2 minutes of any of that Crap dished out, the Principal would have stood up and said, "Call me when you have anything to say worth hearing." And left, with their entourage.
We have serious problems. How about finding a serious administration, guys?

If you want to buy it yourself with food stamps, you have to fully cook it.

Personal insult. 7 days.
Look, 777. You need to STOP attacking SOOPOO now. This is it. You have been singling him out for criticism for years, and you're not even accurate with it.
Even though I agree in general with some of your political positions, you don't get to disparage another member by profession (and yes, he IS a doctor) who has said many times he didn't vote for Trump and doesn't support a lot of what Trump has done. What you're doing goes way beyond disagreeing with his posts.
If it happens again when you return, I expect to ask for your nuking. Keep it civil.

Just go look at his number of posts (factor in positive VS negative) then see how many times he has been/should have been suspended.
Then explain why it shouldn't be 30 days? Compare hom with Nathan. Show me his posts that ate not bashing Trump and negative in content.

If you don't see that BBB IS BIASED towards Trump supporters and Trump haters then you are blind.
To lighten up the mood, here are some fun stats about Trump’s huge victory in the mid-term elections:
- Unprecedented number of female representatives (102) and senators (25)
- First Native American women elected to Congress (Deb Haaland, D-NM01; Sharice Davids, D-KS03)
- First Muslim American women elected to Congress (Ilhan Omar, D-MN05; Rashida Tlaib, D-MI11)
- First openly bisexual person elected to the Senate (Kyrsten Sinema, D-AZ)
- Record number of millenial representatives (26), with Representative-Elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez becoming the youngest woman to ever serve in Congress
- First women to represent their state in the Senate (Marsha Blackburn, R-TN; Kyrsten Sinema, D-AZ)

FYI , I don't care.I know there is and always have been many biases on the forums. It's almost impossible to find someone who isn't biased. Over all, BBB does a great job. That doesn't mean she is not a little biased.
Hell, If I were a Mod, I would be very biased in certain situations.
Look at 777’s number of posts compared to his suspensions and frequency. Take into account what else been posted by him (practically nothing). In his last 5 pages of posts (20 posts per page? 25?), he has maybe 6 posts that aren’t related to Trump or politics of some sort. Finally maybe a non-political post in the Vegas Haiku thread, but big surprise, it’s all about Trump bashing.
Not saying that bashing Trump or any politician should be suspension-worthy, but the lack of civility in his posts....ooooof.
If I’m not mistaken, it seems like the “nuclear option” was designed for this type of situation.

Haters will hate, America will still thrive, and people of every color will still thrive or fail based on hard work and common sense. Some will still find ways to beat the system, selling drugs, working for people who pay cash, and have no problem cheating others.
Gays will still think others will try to keep them from having sex with another man, criminals will still sell crack, smack, pills and other drugs to weak pieces of shit.
Lazy people of all political parties will expect someone to give them something for nothing, fat people will blame their life choices on others, you get the rest.
And we will all die at some point, but yea, nothing changes. Life will always be what you make it.
In the meantime, the world is there for everyone to enjoy. Take a few minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or even years to enjoy it.

My post was not meant to be an insult to the esteemed doctor from the Buffalo area. But he had talked about in a thread on establishing a residence in PA to avoid NY taxes. It's a tax avoidance strategy that is quasi-legal in that should NY investigate (as we warned him) they might determine that his tax was due in NY.
It's scamming. Just like rich people who park their money offshore or people who take payments in cash to avoid tax. Or don't report every cent in income according to US tax code. And to be fair I would consider all of those measures in any situation inhaolen to be in. In fact I've done it to benefit myself on the order of tens of thousands of dollars. It's wrong.
My point was that some us us look at the poor and single them out as (insert insult here) for spending their welfare money on junk food.
Quote:The Trump administration is sitting on billions of dollars intended to help vulnerable cities and states prepare for extreme weather, prompting growing criticism from state officials worried about the next storm season
Quote:A spokeswoman for the White House’s Office of Management and Budget didn’t respond to a request for comment, nor did a spokesman for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which administers the disaster funds.
The partial federal government shutdown further complicates the process, since staff who must approve the rules that govern the funds are furloughed. But the problem existed before the shutdown, said Brittany Eck, a spokeswoman for the Texas General Land Office.
The $16 billion in funds was meant to address a longstanding complaint about U.S. disaster policy: instead of spending money to protect communities before a storm, the government typically releases funding only after damage has happened. Yet a federally-funded study in 2018 found that every $1 spent on mitigation saves $6 on future disaster costs.
Climate change is causing federal disaster costs to increase. Extreme weather cost the federal government more than $350 billion over the past decade, according to the U.S. Government Accountability Office, an amount that’s expected to increase as rising temperatures lead to more intense and more frequent storms.

To date, I've yet to read a logical argument as to why we shouldn't build one. All that's been put forth by the left is emotion, and nonsense.
You don't have one of your own? It's really easy, especially with the denial of anything emotional. I'd hate to have to explain that part. Not easy to simultaneously view desperate migrants seeking aid and succor as foreign invaders while also holding the notion that we're some sort of Christian Nation.
So logic, then. It's pretty easy for me to see how well static barriers work. My border with Canada is pretty well secure. I've no doubt there's radar, sonar, guys in boats with glass, Coast Guard, et al. Laws and punishments all over the books. Yet despite that I'll have at least 2 illegal narcotics and at least one pistol on my person, I'll cross illegally a few times a year anyway. Why? Simple desire. Regardless of the boat loads of trouble I'd be in, the pull to stay on the school is too strong, and the chances of capture too small. So I violate international law, drain some bit of resource from our monarchal cousins, and life goes on. I see it daily at all the RR crossings 'round here. They all have access roads, and all the wheelers use them. They put up a fence, wheelers cut a path around. Drop a rock in the path, a new one gets cut. Dig a ditch across that, wheelers bog through. Fell a tree on that, wheelers jump over. Despite all the efforts, the desire is stronger than the deterrent, and this is just for the fun of tearing around, say nothing of something as crucial as livelihoods. The only way you'll keep me out of Canada or off CSX property is to have every access manned, and the cost of such an operation far outweighs whatever "damage" my presence causes otherwise.
A wall might prevent abuelita from hobbling across, but again, static barriers are laughable. I've been hearing stories of underground highways since the 80's. Ladders exist. On and on we can go. A wall also needs manpower, and if we had the manpower to cover that much wall, we wouldn't need the wall.
I hear tell that most illegals (most meaning a majority) come by way of overstaying permissions. Dunno how high that wall's supposed to be, but I think Southwest will continue to clear it.
And finally, they come because we employ them. We make resource available to them. Is there ANY word of this part being addressed? I honestly don't know because I'm largely ignorant on this topic, but I also totally know because it's obvious. Of course they're not going to address it. You see, illegals are great for the capitalist. American labor is expensive. Saving >50% on labor is a boon unheard of and unable to be replicated in any other way. So the best thing for a corporate oligarchy to do is feign outrage and give the appearance of action to appease the masses while doing no real thing to stop what is benefitting them in ways no other thing can. Ya know, like ya boy does in his hotels and resorts. You're being hoodwinked and hornswaggled bigly, and it's the most obvious thing in the world. SAD!
Pretty emotion free, yes? Now indulge me... how did some NY Democrat twist you up so much that you now support the shuttering of .gov at yuge cost to coerce US into paying for a wall Mexico was suppose to cover? How long I gotta camp at Holiday Inn before this s#$% starts to make sense to me?
