Ahigh's one month suspension is up on Saturday. For
some of you it seems like its been 6 months. For a few
of us it seems like 6 minutes. Will he be back? Will
he be the old Ahigh? I was going to do a poll on who
cares and who doesn't, but was afraid nobody would vote..

According to him, he isn't coming back.

Cliff notes:
He announced being banned from here.
He declared all the forum nonsense was too much work and he had better ways to spend his time.
He declared all of his stuff was being taken down and he was leaving the internet world.
His supporters rallied behind him.
He changed his mind about quitting the intertron.
He said WoV wasn't for him (or dice guys in general).
His site gained some more posters.
He seems content at Goodshooter.com.
The opinions of this moderator are for entertainment purposes only.

Haha...you beat me to it. I was gonna post a message in one of his threads. Personally, I think he'll be back. (He'll probably want to vent after getting banned from shooting at South Point)

I went and looked. Read the Banned at SouthPoint thread. I
actually laughed out loud TWICE! Once when he went to the
casino manager and a second time when he got a response
from gaming. I guess I miss him a little, he really is pretty
entertaining, even if its inadvertent on his part. He takes
everything sooooo seriously..

He won't be back - the haters here diverted his passion with their closed-minded baiting. Too bad because he tended to push the envelope to open up some different and often interesting aspects and diversity on a board is refreshing.

Being in Ohio it does put a damper on attending Las Vegas festivities. How was the luncheon?

One way to predict whether he'll deign to post here again after his suspension is to determine whether he bothers to visit and check out the board during the period of his suspension.

There is a box at the bottom of the home page of the board called "members who have visited the forum today;" I've idly viewed it a few times in the past weeks and have not seen his name.

The implication being if he hasn't viewed the board while suspended, he may not be interested anymore.

But: would a visit by a suspended member be tracked and noted by the board's programming, or would his suspension disqualify him as a member, thus allowing for him to visit without the fact being tracked and noted?

The guy *is* a lightning rod ...

A while back, I commented that I sometimes saw voluntarily-suspended member mkl654321 listed as a visitor. Immediately after I noted that, his name stopped showing up. I assumed that he logged out or deleted some cookies or something so that he could view the site as a non-member rather than announcing his presence. If Ahigh chose to do the same thing, I suppose he could. Don't know why either Ahigh or mkl654321 would bother trying to hide, though.

There's an option in the forum to hide one's prescence online. I know because I have it checked. You'll notice I don't show up as being online or as having visited today.

He could set his name as invisible so it doesn't show up down there as mine and a few others don't.

Whoa, then I guess the Wiz truly IS "great and powerful" as he confers the power of invisibility upon his board's members.

If Ahigh opted for the "cloak of invisibility:" will the "cone of silence" be much further behind?

Just a click on your profile indicates your last visit date. Ahigh's was May 25th. Believe he was suspended on the 22nd and probably just came back to see his name in red...;-)

The 25th was the WoVCon. Depending on the time, he could have been looking for recent changes to the plan. I thought everyone got along just fine there and didn't detect any indication he wouldn't be joining us again. As I noted in the WoVCon thread, I even saw him the next day at Silverton, and everything seemed fine. I look forward to his return.

On his site Ahigh says he's definitely not coming back
to WoV. Too many arguments with his superior knowledge
I guess. He also says discussions that dice control doesn't
exist are not welcome on his forum. LOL! Priceless. While
he goes all over town losing his ass on a weekly basis
with his superior dice methods. Go and read it, he loses
far more than he wins, and cries and cries about it. Yet
dice control is real, its not a fantasy. He also has pits
pre warning him now about no more 'short rolls' because
thats becoming his claim to fame. He just can't seem to
reach that wascally back wall with his precision losing
rolls..

It's really exciting over there. It would be easier if he broke the board in to sub-categories like this one though..

Stories about my losing sessions

Stories about Pit Personnel harassing me

Stories about me getting banned

Stories of me controlling dice at my house

I think that would make it easier for the 10 active members of the forum to find the needed information they are looking for.

Whats funny is, a few months ago it was all stories
about how nice and friendly the pits were to him. How
they were his friends and even pumped him for info
about craps. Now all his stories are about harassment
and the grudges he carries and the lengths he'll go
to get back at them. But these are his friends, his
good friends. They've turned on him, he must feel
very betrayed..

First it was Gold Coast, then SouthPoint, and now Wynn
is telling him no 'short rolls' before he even shoots. So
he gets his buy in back and leaves in a huff. Why does
he think short rolls are OK, thats the question.

I read the latest story and even from the biased narrator perspective of the story, I am absolutely not sure who was rude to who. Sauce for the goose seems not to be good sauce for the gander.

Everything that you and I and a few others have said was going to happen from the beginning is happening. Luck swinging the other way and losing, meltdown on this site, Pit personnel not liking him like he thought they did and trouble at casinos for short throws. I don't wish it on him but an arrest for going nuts at a casino and troubles at home are obvious progressions. I really hope it doesn't go that way but its kind of watching Lindsay Lohan or Brittney Spears. I think him staying away from here and not having to tussle with smart people might help.

He admits he has a bad temper in casinos when
things don't go his way. He's said here a couple
times he's gone ballistic on dealers. When he was
losing a big wad last week he actually mentioned
that he was calm inside and felt nothing. But you're
right, one of these losses that are coming more and
more frequently will end up very badly when he loses
it. He thinks he's an AP player and when he loses
and its obvious he's not, those two opposing ideas
clash and cause him to lose his temper in a major
way. Its only a matter of time before the inevitable
happens..

Here's a summary of his rant from his own site where he and a couple of his friends talk about how good they are and have no contradicting members...

Quote: Ahigh

My history of the forum at the Wizard of Vegas isn't entirely pleasant. You can't call anyone a name over there. You can't curse. And you get banned if you do that sort of thing. Since I have been banned, I've been posting more on my own forum. I don't have these rules. If I think someone is an ass wipe, I will tell you as much. And you're free to do the same.

That should be fun. Now that he's offered, maybe I'll take him up on that.

Quote: Ahigh

Also, talking shit is a big part of the game of craps. The dealers, the players, and even the box man and pit crew talk shit ALL THE TIME.

Really??? I've been in casinos both as a player and employee for the last 27 years. I guess I've never ventured into the dumps he frequents? I'd be amazed I guess.

Quote: Ahigh

But the problem isn't that they made me angry (that's in the past) the problem is that it's a huge waste of my time interacting with such mentally inept individuals. If you sell advertising for gambling websites, you need all the losers you can get on your forum. All these guys projecting their loser qualities onto me and putting me in the same box with others who do nothing but continuously lose is the biggest limiting factor on where I am going. I am very glad to be out of there.

LOL ! How can you do anything but laugh and bow to his superior being. We were blessed and now we lost him. Oh the horror!!!

Quote: Ahigh

I have not missed reading that forum at all. It was my impression that I was putting in too much of my time and effort into making that site more popular, and my efforts seemed futile. When the ban went into place, it made me realize that in the best case, I am simply helping to make another site more popular that doesn't even truly value my presence there.

I sure hope the Wiz thanked him when he was here. While it might be true that there were more posts when he was here, I don't think it was a good vibe nor was any good will created by his presence. Well, at least now Ahigh can focus on his growing site that has been around for 1 year and has had 8 people online at one time.

He's a legend in his own mind...

Now now now.

Ahigh is a character with a big ego. I don't think anyone would deny that. Those who have met him in Vegas have nothing but good things to say about him. He seemed to be generous.

But yeah, if he's out every night playing craps and taking the play personally, he's likely on the road to addiction. And given his type "A" personality which he has exhibited here time and time again, it may very well mean trouble.

I do love how he twisted his efforts to say that he was trying to make the site more popular. Uh huh.

Certainly he advanced the dice control debate to the point where it seemed to be the only topic on this forum, and it was interesting to see the different camps state their position for better or for worse.

He'll be back.

I'm one of them, big surprise. Whats stopping anybody

they are. He can't keep anybody out just because he says
so. In fact, I'll prove it. In the next 10 days I'm going to join

He's like the cult leader of Dice controllers and he hates to be challenged and questioned about his short shots and no control once his dice hit the back wall. Everyone on his list doesn't let him blow smoke up their back sides.

Oh my god. That's awesome. I need it in XL-Black ! Lol. Much better then the silly one he's selling. The only problem is this shirt only applies to 5 people right now. It's a select and proud club though.

You need to have the dice 'incorrect'.... say a five and two showing on non opposite faces :)
"Then you can admire the real gambler, who has neither eaten, slept, thought nor lived, he has so smarted under the scourge of his martingale, so suffered on the rack of his desire for a coup at trente-et-quarante" - Honore de Balzac, 1829
