I'm not a golfer, but continue to be amazed by the fall of Tiger Woods. Has there ever been a sports figure as successful & talented as Woods & then fallen as far as him because of a divorce or other similar situation? It's like Mickey Mantle going without a home run for a season because he got caught cheating and divorced during the off season.

Tiger has gone from top of the heap to middle of the road over night. He isn't as good as he used to be. Because of a divorce? Divorce is tough, but he certainly isn't the first.

So any other athlete lost his talent over night because of a divorce or similar situation?

Tiger Woods has won 14 Majors. But not one of them since his scandal in 2010 broke. Woods had a trophy wife but was getting white p _ _ _ y on the side. If that sounds crude it was meant to, because I think it accurately describes how he would have referred to it. He had a sexual urge that he tried to satisfy with a string of hot white tramps who would sleep with a celebrity for money or bragging rights. I remember after the scandal broke he said, “I’m not perfect.” Is that some kind of apology or admission of his unfaithfulness to his wife? None of us is perfect so his statement is meaningless.

Tiger played a dangerous game of presenting to the world that he’s a good father and husband, but in reality he flirted with being exposed by engaging in so many conquests. His behavior had to expose him eventually, and he knew it, and therefore he wanted to be exposed.

What does it say about a man who has no interest in relationships with women of his own race? I’m not totally sure, but I think he dated and slept with only white women.

Tiger derived power from perpetuating a false mental and moral face to the world. He lost power and mental strength when the truth exposed him.

That's his business.

If his wife was Black and he had affairs only with Black women, this would not be an issue for you.

"White P---y." "White Tramps"

Lots of hostility there.

There was no reason to mention they were White.

Your real beef is with Black men bedding White women.

There is a good south park about this.

The point is, just about every guy would sleep with a string of hot women if he could. The reason that most guys don't is not due to some moral obligations; it's because they can't.

And why not have both outward beauty and inward? I would not settle for an ugly girl, I would not settle for a dumb girl, I would not settle for a greedy girl. I would not settle for a slutty girl.

As far as tiger goes, its his life. Who are we to judge? If he likes white P____Y who cares, so do I. Possibly he does not find black women as attractive, to each his or her own. If I were him, I would ignore my haters and continue F$%%^&$ white chicks while depositing money in the bank.

Huge plus Torrey Pines, Tiger knows this course, has won on this course.
Huge minus, Tiger has been sucking lately.

I estimate the odds at 150/1.

I actually think 50-1 is reasonable. Hasn't he won this tournament about six times?

I usually stay at the Hilton on Torrey Pines when in San Diego but I have never played it. I am hoping this coming Memorial Day I will get an opportunity to play.

Tiger was my first golf bet. It's so long ago I don't remember the exact bet or year 96 - 98 I think. I just know I laid money saying he wouldn't win a major or something that year. I think no rookie had done so? OUCH! He won, I lost. What can you do? Too rub it in, he kept winning.

I think it's possible he doesn't win again this season, I mean any tourney not just a major. He finished dead last in Phoenix last week. His whole game looks bad. He has the yips when putting which sometimes never goes away. Most of all he's completely lost his confidence. I don't think he believes he can win anymore. No one on tour is scared of him any more. Tiger doesn't have a back problem. He has the "yips", with every club in his bag. He is scared to hit a golf ball. It's very obvious.

The guys on TV are smart enough to know this, but they can't call him out (so they went along with the "back" excuse, although they did drop a few hints).

Tiger needs a shrink, not a swing coach.

He certainly has the yips when it comes to putting and chipping and I wouldn't rule out steroids. Changing instructors hasn't gotten the desired results. He should have stayed with Butch Harmon and never changed his winning swing.

I don't think Tyson's fall from grace was due to snacking, although that may have played a part in it. Him going to jail for 3 years in the prime of his career is what did him in. He still was good when he came out but never was the same athlete again.

He got rid of the trainers that got him there. In the Buster Douglas fight his dumass corner couldn't tell him what to do to counter Douglas. I seen Evander Holyfield on TV telling Tyson how he figured him out. He said Tyson quit moving his head in his fights.

I don't know if the Douglas fight is when he "lost it" I think it was a guy who got lazy for one particular time. However, after the jail sentence, people wanted to see the guy who would knock out people left and right in 90 seconds and that guy was no longer there. By the time he fought Holyfield, he was a shell of his former self

Tyson's sparring partners were calling back to Las Vegas telling their friends to get money down on Douglas. They said there was something wrong with Tyson and he was even getting knocked down while sparring. The line dropped from like -5300 to something like -4300, then the books, thinking something was up, shut the line down.

I agree, there may have been a lack of training for that one fight, but IMO that isn't when Tyson was done. Had he not gone to jail, he would have had the ability to properly train, get his head out of his rear end and recapture what he once had. After the jail time, it didn't matter what he did, he was finished.

I'm not a huge boxing fan, but I think it was the death of Cus D'Amato in 1985 that was the beginning of the end for Tyson. But, yeah, there was a stark difference between pre-prison and post-prison Tyson. I just looked it up: 41-1 before prison, 9-5 after. And as someone who missed the entire Tyson-McNeely fight while I was answering the door for the pizza guy*, I would say many of those 9 wins were against tomato cans.

Seriously, I went to a friend's apartment, and a bunch of us went in on the PPV together. Just as the fight is about to start, we hear the pizza guy at the door. So, I answer it, and exchange money for pizza. By the time I got back to the living room, the fight was over!

Tiger is the victim of his own perceptions of golf perfection. If one has followed his career from the beginning, you could note that he has changed his swing and swing coaches at least three times in search of "perfection." He has always commented that he could get better, so he would pursue changes and coaches to that end.

Right now his muscle memory, physiology, and kinesthetic senses are all confused from previous changes. Hopefully, he will get some really good advice and go back to the swing that made him almost invincible and unbeatable.

I believe he will work it out.

Hi 1BB: It is not worse. It is the same trash and misinformation. I just reviewed a couple of new threads on craps (my game of choice). Some of the names have changed but the "establishment" lines and math persist. Those folks lose at least 80% of the time (anecdotal) simply because they need a "hot" or "cold" shooter to win. Their math concerning HA is beyond BS. I shall be specific. Just for once I would like to read about one of our math "geniuses" who has come forward and bet $10 only on 1000 PL wagers only and lose just $141.00. Two things will happen absolutely: (1) the player will be bored out of his mind, or (2) he will drop dead at the table.

Tiger shot 85 today at The Memorial.

Eldrick needs to start using HGH and banging hookers again. His game will return to form.
