My understanding has always been that secret mods are supposed to be secretive.

Mike contacted me before he did it. And I understood his reasoning I didnt give him any argument.
And frankly, being a mod was starting to get to be a chore, one which I have no idea how the current mods handle it.
Truth is, the only power that I had that I miss, is being able to edit thread titles. Ive seen more than a few silly typos and I wish I could still fix

James Hall was a member on crapforum.com. Very strong opinions on dice control. Caused quite a stir among believers and non believers. Taught classes at one point at a bar in Arizona. Old timer. Was pretty adamant that not only was dice control possible, many were making their living doing it. His posts became pretty contentious.
Old cowboy type. Claimed to be everything from a golf professional, rodeo star, dice controller, real estate mogul, etc.
Sadly, passed away about 2-3 years ago.

I completely forgot about that one. Thats when he said he flew to the casino in New Mexico posted a picture of the win ($20,000), but the chips were from Harrahs Las Vegas. Then said there was a Harrahs, New Mexico. I think is was a stock photo too. I dont think there was a more inflated ego on any board well, scratch that. ;-)

I figured he supported himself on online gambling. I'm sorry he left. I generally didn't agree with much he had to say and thought most of his food looked to be regurgitated but he had passion.
He read my comment and has requested that I correct it; he says he does in fact still play roulette.

He argued that the 1.41% wasn't the house edge on the pass line, since the come out roll was factored into that.
My best guess is that he's having fun throwing the dice and cheering with his friends.

It's been suggested to me that we should not be discussing suspended members, but my reaction was that we CAN discuss previously banned members, but that we should not insult or bad-mouth them.
