Discussion II about the Suspension List
News people do make errors. When we discover our errors we admit to them.
My errors included not getting proof before publicizing a controversial system.
I also pointed out that no proof has been given in the claims of using the double up bug. Statements and claims and explanations have been made but no proof. No photos, no W2Gs, no machine that demonstrates the bug, no video recordings, no tax returns of the purported $2.8-million in winnings, nothing had been presented.
And to be honest I goofed because I reported that this player had one million dollars of winnings from his unique system without any actual proof either. And when he told me that he did not really win one million from his system but only won about $300k from his system, I had to step back from everything.

Seriously, he didn't win anything from his "system" of intentionally playing bad paytables and making wrong plays. Perhaps he didn't lose much either if he wasn't actually doing it, and it was all a smokescreen while he exploited the double-up bug. Believing he won $300,000 without an edge is horribly naive. Alan should be ashamed of ever promoting any of Singer's phantom wins.

It kept escalating and Kewlj refused to end it???

I seem to recall KJ saying he would not come back even if asked.
KJ said he wants to discuss AP and gambling and not anything political. He should have been here for my NY AP move thread. (maybe he would have fled with the Exodus which would have been ironic)
I invite him back if he wants to discuss AP and gambling. KJ has his own stories to tell I am sure. He can be proactive as well as reactive on here.

I remember it as some member with very few posts here somehow got Kewj who had been contributing a lot here kicked out. Did that person come here and contribute much after that. Nope. Pretty much disappeared as I remember. It was one of the few bans that left a bad impression on me.
Maybe because no really ever explained it, but that's not my fault -- just the way it was.

Generally insults of banned members has been accepted in the past, but it's not really done often either. It was a pretty mean statement if true, and I don't remember any post/posts on this forum that would make you think that KewlJ was that way. And I assume Mike doesn't either. I don't think I was very active in the time KewlJ was dealing with QFit though, so I certainly could have missed a post or two.

It was the result of an ongoing feud with QFIT (that initially resulted in a ban when both parties had agreed to a truce) and had nothing to do with white supremacism. I should assume RDW4POTUS might be mistaking KewlJ for someone else.
How KewlJ went from a ban to Nuke was not directly related to a post made here.
If KewlJ has ever said something even vaguely white supremacist like, I don't remember ever seeing it. (After reading BillRyan's post, I do want to add a disclaimer that I didn't often pay attention to the politics threads, even when I was an Admin. My policy was that if something happened in those threads that someone wanted me to look into---preferably to the person doing the complaining---then they could PM me. Still, even if something KewlJ ever said came off that way, I'd be extremely shocked if it was meant that way.)

Last thing I thought was it was political. I think all sides can agree against police brutality.
And this was a direct video of a newsworthy incident so no room for the usual what happened that we didn't see.
The video didn't go to guilty or innocent. If that guy had been an axe murderer there was no call to just sit on his neck after the threat was over until he asphyxiated
At any rate, while I am back the thread appears closed so let's not discuss it here either

It just had the potential to get political.
That in itself should not be a marker for what is a political thread.
If so, then most every COVID-19 thread is suspect.
Truthfully I think you and I could have kept to a discussion without mentioning true politics. Again we kind of are managing on the Covid threads.

You got the very rare post-suspension opportunity to say a few last words.
The virus thread has been a little bit of that, and political, but it is very gambling related. So, you're only likely to get pegged if you make a direct violation of one of the rules.
Just my opinion though.
