College Football Picks 2019
The goal for CAR (capital at risk) each week will be:

This assumes that new capital and CAR will be recalculated each week (regardless of win or loss amounts). If you start with $1k and wager 20% on week 0 and win, your capital will be $1k + winnings for the next week. Week 1 CAR would then be 20% of the new capital. All picks will be ATS picks only. No ML or Totals. Point buys will either be none, +/- 0.5 or +/- 1.0. There will be no buys greater than 1 point.
The goal is to produce positive ROI each week. Theoretically, with no buys and a perfect record (just an example), $1k would become $140,343. But, I'm not pretentious and will assume that a majority of weeks may see an ROI of -5% to +25%. If I present 4 games and go 2-2 (50%) if the majority of money is on the 2 winners, a positive ROI will be achieved. So, I'm not overly concerned about wins or losses, although I'd like to shoot for 60% on ATS win probability. I will not be flat betting amounts on games.
To save time, much of my betting will be done in Twin River (Lincoln, RI) . I will post ticket images of all games I list. If I list a game, that means I placed a wager on the game. I will do my best to have the image posted within the same day. It doesn't matter all that much as the amount I list will match the ticket when posted. There will be a full accounting after each week. If Twin River refuses wagers or limits wagers, I can change venues to several other areas close by. Week 9 and greater, I may have to go to AC or Vegas to handle any large amounts. If so, capital and CAR will have to include and account for any weekly expenses. In this case, new capital calculations may take a format similar to a Combined Ratio.
No websites, contact info, advertisements or links to data will be provided. Everything is as is. If, at any time, you find a flaw in the CAR/ROI strategy, I'll listen to any advice provided. I do not want to get into arguments with anyone. If you agree and like what I'm doing, great. If you don't, ignore the thread and move on with your day to day.
I want this year to be serious but also fun.
All games will be consolidated and posted in this thread.

It doesnt matter what my record is now. No matter what I post it will be ridiculed. I only posted it for fun, but it was accurate. I believe me posting my record is different than people like ms, jd and wmw since they proclaim to be prolific and found the wholly grail. I have always said how terrible I am at picking games within the contests so that is the reason it was brought up. In my 9000 posts I have never once tried to sell something or talked about my results of anything.
If you would have elected to have a discussion about my picks opposed to attacking them I would have explained what I am doing and you could easily back test to see what I picked. Then we could have talked about stupid my method is which I agree but it is doing well right now.

Joel actually has some type of sports betting tout service of some kind or whatever you want to call it. He even thinks one can beat the horses using astrological type b*******. At one time he claimed to have some Voodoo bulsh*t winning craps system that eventually failed. Then he made a bunch of Sports predictions or something like that and when it started going bad he disappeared from the Forum for a long time. And there's more. Just go back and look at all of his posts it's quite hilarious and entertaining.
GWAE isn't here doing any of that. His name actually stand for Gambling WITHOUT An Edge.
As far as Mustang Sally goes, it seems to me she just tries to get crafty with her wording. I actually believe that she has an advantage if and when she claimed she does.

The teams haven’t played any games yet other than spring/fall and scrimmage 1 / scrimmage 2 sessions. Week 0-1 I’m looking for line advantages. I have a good snapshot of team data ending from the previous year. I have had time to evaluate returning starters, transfers and injuries. Week 2-3 I’m waiting for data building / collection.

Axel's question is quite relevant. Because Joel has tried to sell picks a couple years ago on this site to uninformed members. I mean his record was atrocious, and he was lying through his teeth about his "success and method" but that's beside the point. He was still looking for clients on his information service or whatever it was that could help make you a better sports bettor.
Axel and I are here to call a spade a spade. Joel is back on this forum after a hiatus looking to get hot and nab a few clients. Predictably he'll give terrible picks again and fail, but the intent is quite clear after his first run here. If he fails, he'll disappear for a year, return, rinse and repeat.

I appreciate it but Just to set the record straight again, I’m not here to sell anything. I even cleaned up my profile to ensure no names were provided. Show me one time I was banned for doing such. It won’t be found.
This year I was just trying to have some fun by setting a starting bankroll and working with capital at risk as weeks progressed. I had no set expectations other than hoping to do well with the 1k bankroll.
I can see this is bothering some people here, namely SM and Axel, so it’s probably better to just close the thread. I’m really not the bad guy those two think I am. I had a really bad year a couple of years back so took one year off from doing any sports betting. It was a pretty humbling year in 2017.
My apologies to anyone I upset.

He literally posted his website that that was like his user name with a dot com that links to his site to sign people up. If I remember, it was extremely cheap, like $20 a year. No. We are between 200% and 500% ROI, depending on how much CAR (Capital at Risk) we want to take. 1. I relax. I'm happy. I'm carefree and light. I'm relaxed.
2. I roll the dice gently in front of me. I make sure the top 2 numbers and the 2 sides facing me don't add up to 7. I continue rolling in front of me until I achieve that result.
3. I toss the dice away from chips in view and tend to keep the dice on axis.
4. I put only a very slight back spin on the dice when I roll.
5. I think about the number I want to roll. The 7 is non-existent in my world.
You would think this wouldn't work but it does. Maybe it's related to Ki/Chi or karmic relationships, mystical patterns in the universe, or hell even the force - I don't know. What I do know is it's working a lot. I'm now on 7+ 30-min rolls over the last 4 days using this technique. Try it out or don't.

he did say "we" and refers to 200-500% in you post - I'm not sure what the "we" means - it sounds like he's part of a team or the leader of a team
