EB - I just want to get something clear -

back to your winning roulette methods

I believe you have stated in the past that you don't go to the casinos and clean up for big bucks because you don't care about making big bucks

but - correct me if I'm wrong - if you wanted to:

you could easily clean out casinos for hundreds of thousands or even millions

as long as they didn't stop you from playing - after realizing your amazing talents

is that about right?

How could there be any other answer than Yes? Unless, the chips talk to the wheel and ball and tell them not to hit certain numbers because this guy is betting too much.

Anyone using his methods could earn hundreds of thousands or even millions every day. In the example he used in the first post in this thread, he was betting $5 and earned $150. In Las Vegas, he would have no problem making $5,000 bets, which would have resulted in earnings of $150,000. Could probably find (or negotiate) $50,000 bets somewhere. That would have meant earning $1.5 million.

The reason EB does not do anything close to that is because he does not think it is good for one person to accumulate that much wealth, based on what he has said in the past. If I am wrong about that, hopefully he explains things.

So the reason you choose to limit your table game income to three figures, when six or seven figures is easily available (and eight figures is possible) is because of age. Thanks for clearing that up.

I have indeed read that your priorities change as you become old.

When you are young, you want to "accomplish," "acquire" and "experience."

When you become old, your priority becomes "longevity."

As you get very old, your top priority becomes " keeping your marbles."

Now that I'm actually reading his posts, statements
like the above don't ring true for somebody who has
actually beaten the game. I would never make a
statement like that because it shows that I don't
understand the game I'm playing. It shows me he
doesn't understand the game he's playing, and the
only way to beat is to understand it. No inner voice
ever tells me to quit or play, that's ridiculous. I look
at what's going on and that tells me what to do. It's
like sitting at a stop sign, you don't listen to some
inner voice telling you to go or not. That's a good way

and whats confusing is that every spin is independent yet when a wheel is measured it takes into account the last 10k spins or so - and if independence is a thing then why would 10k spins matter - or whateve the number is that allows us to say a wheel is "fair"

Regardless of whether he's considering the next spin, or the longer term future of many spins is not significant.
Let's say he is only concerned with one spin and proposes to wager on one number on a single zero game. He might use his maths prowess to determine that he has EXACTLY a 1 in 37 chance of winning and that if he wins he will be rewarded with 35 new chips on top of his original one. Unless he can somehow determine that his probability is better than 1 in 37, then he's onto a -EV proposition. For him to know his probability is > 1 in 37, he would need some extra REAL information. I contend that he would not have that in any real world casino that he deigned to visit. Long term or one spin, the house edge is a constant and the ACTUAL outcome is a probabilistic property.

In another post, you ask why wheels are tested over 10,000 spins. That will be because the great number of spins would determine within a CALCULATED level of confidence how evenly distributed the outcomes are.
Test over only 1 spin, and they can have zero confidence that the outcome is random within acceptable parameters. Test over 36 spins and they would almost certainly not see every number come out the same number of times. So they'd have very low confidence that the wheel is random within acceptable parameters.Only by testing over a large number of spins can they satisfy themselves within x% probability of being correct that the outcomes are not more anomalous than some pre decided acceptable limit. I'm rubbish at statistics and chi squared tests etc, but these calculations of probability are just that. Not guesses. Not estimates. Calculations. The casino decides what risk they face that the observed results are too far from expectation and then they test for that against their observed sample.
Now, before you ask.... as the number of sampled spins increases, the NUMERICAL difference between the count of reds and blacks will tend to INCREASE. The NUMERICAL difference between the count of odds and evens will tend to increase. The probability of every number coming out the same number of times will tend to DECREASE. Only the ratios will tend to converge.
I don't recall any of EvenBob's posts where he explains how he can beat roulette, so I value his assertion that he can beat it on a par with the value I place on the existence of leprechauns.
Psalm 25:16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Proverbs 18:2 A fool finds no satisfaction in trying to understand, for he would rather express his own opinion.

So how many spins on the roulette wheel happen every hour. Because I was gonna bet on one number and win $50-$80 on it every time it hit before 70 spins. If I win, I start another 70 spins. Oh, I was mistaken, I thought this was a $2 table.

I've never looked at this thread. Mdawg claims
he beats bac? So what, lots of people do.
I beat it. I don't play it because I don't like
the company at bac tables. The casino
wayyyyyy favors certain people from
certain places and lets them get away
with breaking every rule. Screw that.

I remember in 2008 went to Four Winds
on the MI border. It was only me and the
bac dealer, and one other. I said to her I'm
going to make my $100 goal and leave.
About 15 hands later I'm $100 ahead
and the dealer is staring at me. She leans
in and in a low voice says, my advice is
if you want to play here, don't tell the pit
what your win goal is and then do it.
You won't be playing for long.

The same thing happened at Soaring
Eagle. I was staying there and drinking
vodka and playing bac for fun with
$5 bets. I was stupidly talking to the
dealer about how easy bac is to beat
and then beating it. I was up $150
(on $5 bets) and it was just me playing
and one other and this nasty pit lady finally
told us they were closing the table. All
I was doing was winning.

So if bac is Mdawg's game I totally believe
him. Beating bac isn't that hard, you have
to know when to bet and when not to.
Some shoes are total no bet shoes,
that's another reason I don't play. I like
to get in and get out, I don't have time
for periods of waiting for bets to appear.

Does anybody really think some of those
big casinos in Macao that have 800 bac
tables, with 400 of them active at any
one time, doesn't have people there
that have beaten the game? Of course
they do, really really clever players you
will neve catch. It's much easier to play
roulette where nobody is even suspecting
you can beat it.

So Bob just to understand since you started this thread and your claims, I just want to be clear myself. And I'm not trying to make fun or cause drama. I just truly want to understand and what I see is you're a technical and experienced baccarat professional along with knowing all the mathematical and statistics odds. You have beaten the game and you have made quite a bit of profits from it.

Am I correct?

You also do not play the game any longer because you don't like the type of people at the tables and you find it extremely boring even though you can make as much money as you want at playing the game.

Am I correct?

No. Sorry. This is the $5 table.
