DarkOz: You do realize we have been given parameters of what constitutes high risk behavior? Shun those and masks are mostly not needed but kept at the ready. Common sense needed here, not an act of political correctness.

Certainly hosting parties with large gatherings without masks isn't one of them.

AZ says he insisted on hosting a party just recently as long as it was maskless.

He is doing everything he can to shun common sense covid behavior

I did not host it, I worked it. Somehow none of us died!

NOBODY wore masks. Maybe 1 person but I doubt it.

Got another one around New Years. Should go the same way, no masks.

The fact no one died (and somehow I doubt you really did any contact tracing to actually know) is immaterial.

It's like walking down the center of a busy highway, all the cars swerve to avoid hitting you and you declare no one died so it's safe.

It's still irresponsible behavior

Yeah, except no. Going to a gathering does not at all compare. A party with about 50 not sick people? We called that "normal" 270 days ago.

Uh, yeah 270 days ago.

By your logic it's okay to have a house party in the middle of a raging fire because a few days earlier everything was fine

The point is notice how fast you let yourself go from living a normal life to hiding at home.

Right now several casinos are closing down again, many of their own free will.

Life is not normal.

Ignoring the pandemic doesn't make life normal.

You mean like walking out in front of an intersection and holding your hand up to to traffic?

Some of us don't care about safety if it compromises our life enjoyment. I believe life is meaningless and I don't care if everybody dies.
