Quote: avianrandyOne of my coworkers downloaded a knockoff of wordle because he loves wordle and wanted to play it more than once a day however he said their are a LOT of ads and they are placed where it is almost impossible to avoid clicking on them. Just a heads up if you are planning on trying a knockoff

I tried a knock-off one and as you said it was filled with ads it was shut down after a few days. Quardle doesn’t have ads but I don’t like the format.

It’s one of those where if you don’t eliminate enough letters early on you will be stuck with a bunch of potential options for the first letter.
I have been using hard mode

I didn't know there were different modes. What's the difference? I suppose I use whatever the default it.
Four today. I guess I was lucky to find the first letter on the 3rd turn.

Hard mode says any revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses. So for example in today’s puzzle, you can’t go off the farm and guess a complete new word to search for missing letters. Hard mode is turned on in the settings, and when you post your results there will be an asterisk.

I use 'hard mode' as well. That said, I don't believe it makes it that much more difficult. Especially, since you can re-use incorrect (not in puzzle) letters.
It took me SIX tries today (Monday 3/28). Oh well. I did finally solve it.
That's pretty awesome, getting it in 2!Quote: avianrandyWoohoo March 28 2

Mrs. Joeman was not as fortunate on this one. She knew the last four letters of this puzzle by word #3, but ran out of tries trying to figure out the first letter. There were 8 different possibilities!
