I wasn't sure about the last eight, until I noticed that four were nouns and the four were adjectives

I also thought "democratic" = "blue" was pushing it a little, but you can make a case for "blue state" = "Democratic state"

I apologize but it's not apparent to me how to post to this thread, so I suspect this will appear as a "reply".

Just curious if anyone else has found the last couple of weeks more challenging than usual. About 30%+ of my successful efforts come in at 3 or less guesses.

My last score of "3" was Feb 10. Am I losing "it"?? ;)

Welcome to the WORDLErs thread! You are correct in that the REPLY button is the usual method of posting in this thread, though in my case I QUOTE my previous day's post, then delete the quote tags so each post looks separate.

I have not found the puzzles particularly hard over the last few weeks, though I did have a "6/6" result not too long ago. Overall, I have scored 3 or fewer 257 times in 698 games, so a bit over 36%.

My comparable stat is about 33%, with 210/633 coming in at 3 guesses or below. Thst's much improved from approx 25% over my first 200 Wordles (as would be expected!)

Today, Wordlebot fully expected me to get it in 3 (skill scoring my 3rd guess at "0" since it apparently wasn't in Wordle's abbreviated lexicon.

First guess was STONE; third shot, OATEN. If I'd run through a few more letters of the alphabet, I guess I'd likely have gone with OFTEN instead.
