There, Wordlebot suggested LIONS, but when I ran Wordlebot it claimed LIONS had a 0% chance of being the actual answer, which is true since the answer had to contain the R and C from turn 1.

Thus, sometimes Wordlebot's "best path" includes impossible answers.

Wordlebot�s guess is based on the guess that will yield the most bits of information, in the information theory sense of the word, based on Wordlebot�s understanding of all possible solutions and possible guesses.

The Feb. 14 Connections stumped me. I got the group with XO, but couldn't even make a guess for the other three groups!

Let's see those spoilers�

UPDATE: I got the second group: odd that I didn't see that previously! How am I not able to get the yellow group?!

UPDATE 2: It's falling into place! I got the purple group! I can't bear the fact that the yellow group was my toughest!

I think the yellow group are words that mean "barely touch"?

TOAST was a bad play: STARE showed the A wasn't in spot three.

I spent about four minutes solving this one.

I have not heard of any of those bands.
I could see younger people not associating sand with playgrounds. Seems to me they switched to wood chips and rubber in the 90's.

It occurred to me that Connections is kind of like playing a solitaire version of $10,000 Pyramid.
