The number of properties is important too. Couldn't tell ya all that, you'd have to check in with him! Right now I'm just a small fish since I decided to make a leap and pay off some past debt out of my bankroll. If I was worth more maybe I'd have taken that offer already.
Regardless, I'm sure it'll be a good time filled with many laughs and stories!
Regardless, I think it'd be smart to have discussions about locations and times to be kept confidential / only in PMs. Don't wanna go posting stuff publicly where bad guys will know where the group's at.

Can we maybe go to Mob Pizza? I've heard it's really good but I haven't been there.

When I say it, I specifically mean someone that helps the casinos foil Advantage Players or Advantage Plays. I would not automatically call a casino manager a darksider. There's a difference between someone knowing your online handle and perhaps nothing more and them knowing what you look like, what you wear, your name and other personal details. Knowing a bit is fine, knowing too much is fatal. Trust is everything, and one breach can be devastating.

There are a few on the board who I have met personally, and many others who I have had PM conversations with. I would hope at lease some of them would vouch for me. I am in a semi-unique position, I work in upper management for a Las Vegas area property, and I am also an AP. Wizard knows my identity. I am not even sure if it would be worse for me professionally to be there than for any of you. Most of you are not in my jurisdiction.
I am fine with whatever the group decides. If there is even 1 person that would not attend if I were there, then I will stay clear.

Hmm I didn't think about my statement too much, whoops. It could be vague and include things that only darksiders would know too. I personally don't think another book would be that damaging though. Between Snyder, Wong, Schlesinger, Griffin, Grosjean, Mezrich, Zender and many others it's not like it would be a game changer.
More of a memoir than a how to was what I had in mind, anyway.

I agree but I get a LOT of flack on here for my intentions to publish a memoir about my gambling exploits.

For what it's worth, I think you should write a book as well! Your backstory is unlike many and has an inspirational twist to it.

He can go. I know alot of people that wouldn't if he did. He has stated in the past that he would not tolerate AP's in his house. Well, obviously no AP is going to want him to see them, so they could be pointed out and scrutinized in his house. I would lay odds that he works for a chain. Banned from one banned from all.

In May I have two political trips (DC and Albany) as well as an Anesthesia Conference (Austin) and a trip to your neck of the woods (Gainesville) for “Son of SOOPOO’s PhD graduation. So I’m a tad busy around that time! It is possible I might be able to do the Friday throughSunday visit but that’s a lot of flying for a day and a half.

I think he is safe as there is almost no intersection in our fields: I am not in the same area of the country as he is, and I am also not in a department that intersects with his area of operations.
OK, so that slice & dice is now scheduled for April 9, to be followed by 2-3 weeks of physical therapy. Keeping in mind that I already admitted to being a cheapskate and that someone posted the claim that 5/11-12 looked like the cheapest of the weekends in the poll, I have now cast my vote for that option.
