You were making the rather dangerous assumption that none of the undisclosed picks are high, anyway. Everybody who bid high was risking disaster, and as I predicted, too many people would find it impossible to resist temptation.

Buck up, little camper! The un-submitted folks can still save the day! If you have a locked in high bid, but haven't agreed to split with a low bidder, we need to hear from you now. Work out an agreement to split with a potential low bidder... or get squadoosh.
If you bid HIGH every round so far, you would have won what, $30 (ASSUMING you win this round, which you will not, and that we didn't lose the other round, which we did). So really what are you looking to win here... $15? If you NEED that $15 that much (you should be out working instead of on a forums), or likewise if you don't wish to donate it/parlay it with us/etc, or just want to watch the game burn down, then you're clearly either not very intelligent, or an ass. This is why people make my head hurt. Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad about it either, just very very perplexed...
We need 8 out of the remaining (I think?) 11 players to vote Low (and of course, NO more High votes) to pull this off. Unfortunately, this means we have to get at least two people from those who abstained for Round 7 to vote low.

My inclination is to bid the same as any bid which is declared by AxelWolf. If he bids High, then he has no right to call me a Rat, and I might bid high to punish him.

I can/will wait till the very last second to put my bid in, or not enter my pick at all. My pick won't matter if 3 or 4 people who already confirmed they would be willing to go along with picking high just to chastise non cooperating players.
I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, honestly I don't think we have to even try to chastise anyone, because I think there a few people who "want to watch it burn", and have from the beginning.
If you put in your low bid and I see others then I'll consider going low and asking others to do the same.
This could've been fairly easy. Everyone was on notice if they didn't actually cooperate there was a significant chance we would get ZERO because some people weren't going to stand for it and wanted to punish them, yet a flurry of $10 bids.
We could've easily made it fair for everyone and simply drawn names from a hat who picked high or low and got close to maximum EV.
Just to be clear , Unlike 2F.... I don't actually think OD is a real rat, it's just friendly banter. I know he's a very smart guy who brings lots of value to the forum. I actually really like him and communicate with him off the public forum, he's a really nice guy IMO. He's always helpful to everyone, usually respectful with a good sense of humor.

Did you read any of this thread the last 3 days before you bid high? I just don't get you sometimes, 2f. The available high bids were at -1 already, best as can be deduced. So now it's at least -2 with your bid. I thought you wanted to be on the pool team, where your (essential ) low bid would average to higher?
I did a "Paradigm shift" (sorry... couldn't resist the pun!) and sent in my Low vote.
We still need at least 6 of the remaining 9 undecideds to go Low (and exactly zero more High votes).
