I will be splitting with WongBo in this round.

Public submissions will not be accepted. You must PM me your choice. Trust is key to this game.

So far I have received 9 submissions. I hope the other 23 are busy deliberating.

As a side prop, what percentage of submissions do you think will be share/steal?

I realize submissions by PM. Have done so. Making a public statement of intent. Doing what you say you will is one way to build trust and respect.

About 14 share, 10 steal and 8 No reply.

I make it about 50/50 that you end up keeping all $200.

But Mission is a good, honest, hard-working guy who is going to give the money to orphans... Why would he choose to steal?

Fin, we are talking about MISSION 146, who has wormed his way up from secret vigilante to Administator.

Yeah, but it took him awhile to get there right?

I will tell you guys that my strategy is very simple, you will all either continue to advance me or you will self-eliminate. I'm stealing, so you're gone anyway, don't even worry about that. For those of you who may meet me in the last round or two, if the price hasn't been chopped too many ways by then, I might share at that point, but if we're to the last round with six (or more) people, forget about it.

As far as the rest of you are concerned, I suggest that all of you share early or you're not going to be viewed as trustworthy in later rounds. If I run up against someone next round that stole this round, (assuming AyeCarumba doesn't go the MAD route) it's going to be the same thing, I'm eliminating you, so you decide whether or not I continue.

When we get to the later Rounds, if I'm paired up with some people who have not yet stolen, then we'll see.

I've already put myself out there, and Raleigh has as well. Splitting is the way to go. Unfortunately, someone needs to take out Mission146. We appreciate your sacrifice FinsRule. You're heroic action will be remembered in the songs, and stories we share in the mead hall for generations.

Did it say anywhere that the way we act will be made public? I thought that there'd only be a list of survivors.

Of course, by examining the entrants list and survivors list, it would probably be easy to figure out, but...

Not easy: deterministic. Either you both advance, one advances, or no one advances. In every case, you know who picked what. Since someone is going to be tracking it, why not just make it public? You would be fooling yourself if you thought you could hide that info.

The conversations leading up to the decision are what I find interesting. It is too bad that we cannot reveal what has been shared via PM. Maybe after the whole thing is done, we can agree to publish and dissect.

Maybe we should just do all negotiating within this thread (for all to see) and only use PM's for split/steal decisions?

Only two successful steals... so eliminate those two folks, an d we can split the rest amongst the remaining cooperatives.

EDIT: I am not a complete buffoon. I was working on my post while Wiz's post came in............ Real time forums...

So, if I am reading this right, 10 of the original 16 'teams' are still alive.
I am assuming TIMSPEED's SPLIT vote won him the whole share since his foe did not vote.

Full share owners are:
DJTeddyBear
mwalz9
TIMSPEED

1/2 share owners are:
JohhnyQ - paisiello
CrystalMath - avargov
darnits - miplet
FinsRule - Mission146
RaleighCraps - Ayecarumba
ShiftyRicky - bigfoot66
thecesspit - WongBo

So, now my share to charity is now worth $10. Once again, I will be voting split, since $10 to charity is better than $0. And once again, may I remind my fellow players that STEALing from me, is like stealing money from a charity.
Always borrow money from a pessimist; They don't expect to get paid back ! Be yourself and speak your thoughts. Those who matter won't mind, and those that mind, don't matter!

No. I will only accept share and steal choices. If you choose randomly on your own end that is fine. It makes no difference to me how the choice is made, although I prefer an end with two steals so I can keep my money.
