With table games next month and another expansion planned for Dec/Jan it will probably pass all the Atlantic City casinos (except for Borgata). Of course Sugar House will add some competition.
Quote: pacomartinPARX casino just outside of the city limits of Philadelphia attached to the old Philadelphia Park racetrack seems to be on fire. It passed TRUMP Taj Mahal and caught up to Ceasars (Atlantic City). May revenues were up to $37million.

It's still the Philadelphia Park Racetrack, no need for the "old"...
The new Casino is separated by the HUGE parking lot from the racing (other side of the property) which is disappointing. Penn National Hollywood Casino in Grantville has a beautiful setup where they kept the track and casino connected.

That's unbelievably stupid that they wouldn't attach them. Was it just not geographically possible? Ever racino i've been two has the track building attached to the casino.
Sands Bethlehem was hoping to attract more money from New Jersey and New York City, but at the end of it's first year, it is showing up about average ($20 million per month) in revenue. Sheldon Adelson has publicly stated that he regrets his decision to bid on this casino. But even he probably couldn't have foreseen the gusher of money coming from Asia.
With table games and the improvements planned to the property, PARX may end up being behind Foxwoods and Borgata as the third highest grossing casino in the East. I don't have a good idea of what the Charles Town casino in West Virginia will be making. It has the advantage of being almost the sole choice for the Washington DC area which is pretty large.
Quote: DJTeddyBearNot that I care, but do they at least have a few betting windows in the casino?
I only went the first few weeks. There was an area that was being set up for pari-mutuel, but it wasn't in operation. It probably is by now...
If you want to bet on the horses you need to go to the track, as there are no betting windows in the convention center or the casino.
