Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

So if you can't get licensed in MA, go begging back to NJ?
I am not sure why anyone would want to get into the AC market these days - do they know something we don't?

Oh, I don't know. I heard Revel landed a big fish 2 weekends ago.
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

MGM still ownes 1/2 of the borgata. They are simply trying to avoid the state steeling it from them.

Isn't there a contradiction here in beliefs? Common tripe says casinos cannot cheat people because they are regulated. The regulators deny people whom they deem to be untrustworthy and likely to cheat. Thus, regulators admit it is easily enough done.
I am a robot.

CZR is reacting strongly to PokerStars' bid for the Atlantic Club, and PokerStars is fighting back:
"Caesars Entertainment Corp. reportedly offered to sell the off-Strip Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and the World Series of Poker to PokerStars, a spokesman for the owner of the online gaming business claimed in an email Tuesday.
The statement by Eric Hollreiser, head of corporate communications for The Rational Group, came a day after attorneys for the American Gaming Association wrote in a legal brief that PokerStars had been a "criminal enterprise for many years."
The Washington, D.C.-based trade organization wants New Jersey gaming regulators to reject PokerStars' application to operate the failing Atlantic Club Casino in Atlantic City. Caesars representatives declined to comment on any "assertions" made by PokerStars."

Basically, if you have to go through the process in one state, then why give away half a casino in another? It can't hurt any worse.

Well NJ is the worst.
MGM went through the process some time ago and are hopeing that changes in ownership (Macau) will let them keep Borgata.
