I realize you are a person of limited means, but if you are willing to attend but unable to pay the costs of airfare and a room I suspect we could pass the tin cup and get enough coin to pay for it.

When I joined this site we had so many more intelligent posters that contributed positive content for this forum. Perhaps, instead of choosing to be insulted and feeling vindicated by Wizard's suspension, you could take what was said as constructive criticism and raise the level of quality of your posts.
I don't doubt that PG was expressing the same frustration that SOOPOO often does (and I do, and OnceDear, and others) with frequent hijacking of other people's threads, bad gambling advice, and posting just to giggle at something.
All we know about anyone on here is what they choose to post, including any personal info they share. You chose to pretend you were a man for several months. You choose to post stories about yourself that turn out to be fantasy. You choose to pretend that you have some winning lotto picking system.

I have SUCKED UP too people on here. They told me they wanted me to have my own thread for my thoughts and feelings, so I made Nathan's Corner. People told me they were getting sick of the Lottery Numbers posts, so I stopped talking about the Lottery so much. I even pointed out I did things people asked me to do and I said,"What more do you want from me?" The response was something like,"If this isn't blatant Trolling, I don't know what is." What a Catch 22. Damned if I do, damned if I don't.
In the Cooperation Game I originally wanted to say Share but my Teammates then wanted me to say Steal so I went ahead and said Steal. So when my new Team wanted me to say Share I went with Share which is what I wanted to do from the beginning. I flip flopped between Share and Steal based on what my Team wanted me to do.
I have found the constant harassment of me from certain Members old and it got old a long time ago. I sit here smiling politely when I really want to tell them off so bad and cuss them out so badly, but the only thing stopping me from doing so is the Keep It PG Rule. I even told a Member who was harassing me that the only reason I didn't rip him a new one is because of the PG Rule and he needed to back off of me and he STILL kept harassing me. No, just no. With the Poker Grinder thing, I briefly thought of fake laughing and once again smiling politely, saying something like,"LMAO! :D You're SO FUNNY Poker Grinder! :D While I was absolutely, completely LIVIDLY SEETHING, that was one of the worst, offensive, insulting things I have ever had seen said about me. Really? Most annoying part of the website? Even after I bent over backwards doing what people asked me to do?) But I decided to go with the truth and tell him he really insulted me.

Unfortunately, it's just the opposite here most of the time. After you get through the scrutiny of are you a sick puppet and/or who were you before, one might make it through the harrassment to continue to post and be a contributor. I do understand and recognise the 'no consideration: no contract' Legal standpoint. Just as there is no legal enforcibility to 'a wager between gentlemen' in certain countries. But this is the WOV forum, where one's word is one's bond.
It's not dissimilar to Wizard's promise to pay money to members in his cooperation game 2 or my promise to add $$$ to the prize fund in that game or Romes' pledge of $25 etc etc.
Still. I have probably no skin in the game to the extent that I'm not likely to be at the spring fling. I'm not 'policing' or adjudicating this stupid wager as a moderator, but I'm commenting on it as an observer and fellow member.
If nothing else, Nathan's predicament could make for some sensible gambling / honor related posts in this thread.

Just as I'm not qualified to insist that Nathan settles her debt, because I don't represent all parties to the bet, then I don't think RS is empowered to modify the settlement terms of the bet by proposing to allow 'double or quits'. I did once estimate the probability of Nathan failing at 65% but subsequently realised that by boxing the numbers, she had a far higher chance of getting away with it. Without doing the Math, I expect it's actually better than 50% chance of success for her. So to allow her 'double or quits' on a wager where probability of her success is maybe > 50% is too generous an offer. Again, I can't be bothered to do the maths, but on principle, I believe she should not be given that double or quits opportunity and should just settle up. It's debatable whether the promise is enforceable, probably not by statute, but probably is as enforceable as a gentlemans' agreement.
