No, it showed that they are capable of politicizing the death of our diplomats for political gain.

I wonder if you were this bothered with John Kerry being just giddy hoping Iraq deaths hit 1,000 before the election? Or Obama politicizing claimed torture at Gitmo?

Face facts, Hillary failed in Benghazi. Same as she failed in every other job she was handed.

The facts are that bad things happen in dangerous parts of the world. There were 13 attacks on our embassies and consulates under the Bush administration that resulted in 66 deaths. Did the democrats open up investigations that spent millions in tax payer money because they wanted a fall guy? Did they ADMIT to intentionally prolonging that investigation to hurt a presidential candidate politically?

If you want to argue that mistakes were made and that our investigations should focus on how best to rectify those mistakes in order to avoid or minimize future attacks, I'm all with you. But politicizing the attack for political gain is a non-starter for me.

It's the reason why we were united after 9/11. If the dems were anything like THIS VERSION of the GOP today, they would've immediately starting blaming Bush instead of supporting him in the immediate aftermath of the attack. Instead, we, as a country, supported our President, regardless of D or R next to his name.

But the difference today is that THIS VERSION of the GOP has put party before country for the last 10 years. It's despicable.

The Myth of ‘the Southern Strategy’-NY Times https://www.nytimes.com/2006/12/10/magazine/10Section2b.t-4.html

"To be sure, Shafer says, many whites in the South aggressively opposed liberal Democrats on race issues. “But when folks went to the polling booths,” he says, “they didn’t shoot off their own toes. They voted by their economic preferences, not racial preferences.”

Michael Avenatti Falsely Claims Stormy Daniels Cleared of Assault Cover-up

"Michael Avenatti, the attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels, released a statement claiming his client has been exonerated in an investigation into an alleged sexual assault that occurred during the shooting of an adult film directed by Daniels. A statement released by the company that produced the film, however, says the investigation is still ongoing." lol

I'm sure there is a perfectly innocent reason for this.....

WASHINGTON – A mere 72 hours after the Chinese government agreed to put a half-billion dollars into an Indonesian project that will personally enrich Donald Trump, the president ordered a bailout for a Chinese-government-owned cellphone maker.
“President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast,” Trump announced on Twitter Sunday morning. “Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!”

Trump did not mention in that tweet or its follow-ups that on Thursday, the developer of a theme park resort outside of Jakarta had signed a deal to receive as much as $500 million in Chinese government loans, as well as another $500 million from Chinese banks. Trump’s family business, the Trump Organization, has a deal to license the Trump name to the resort, which includes a golf course and hotels.
Trump, despite his promises to do so during the campaign, has not divested himself of his businesses, and continues to profit from them.

ZTE is in trouble because 1) they sold American technology to North Korea and Iran in spite of the sanctions and 2) Because US Intelligence Services declared that their products contain spyware and banned the company from doing business with the US Government.

Im sure EB and AZ will say this is smart business

Get paid millions for lifting sanctions helping chinese gain jobs and help put up Hong Kong Trump Golf Tower

Its only right in their opinion that if Trump is smart enough to get rich by screwing over Americans and betraying his sworn oaths thats more power to him

I love the robber barons that made this
country a world power in the late 1800's.
They employed millions and raised the
standard of living for everybody. Like
the old saying goes, a poor man never
gave anybody a job.

All Communism and socialism did by
comparison was make everybody
equally miserable. They had the moral
high ground while they starved and
waited in line for a roll of toilet paper.

Seattle just approved a 'head tax' or, as I refer to it, a 'homeless tax' - companies with $20M GROSS annual revenue (a lot of companies are going to fall under this umbrella - does not even have to be a large company - gross is much different than profit) will be charged $275 per employee to help with Seattle's homeless situation...

Maybe Starbucks will get "homeless offset credits" based on their new bathroom policy?

I know the US is basically a modified socialist state (considering all the social and entitlement programs run by government) but, now we are going to add an extra tax onto companies for merely having employees

This new tax, coupled with Seattle's ever so successful $15/hr. minimum wage are going to cause corporations to evacuate Seattle

If you want to see the silliness of today's liberals, look no further. Here is what everyone is missing, the news should be screaming it:

Liberals want less smoking, so we put a tax on cigarettes.
Liberals want people drinking less pop, so the make a sod tax.

So, liberals put a tax on.........wait for it......... JOBS!

Logically, this means they want less jobs, right?

The other funny thing is liberals hate income inequality, yet the most liberal places have the most income inequality.

I truly expect homeless advocates to start suggesting Starbucks as a place to spend the day during winter in cold areas. Not sure what Starbucks could do at this point to stop it. Couldn’t happen to a better company.

Let me reasonably address some of the last few posts here

Living in NY I can tell you the cigarette tax does raise money and punish smokers but the rationale is 2nd hand smoke hurts others and first hand smoke makes all the non-smokers pay higher insurance premiums for all that cancer and illness treatment - BTW that was a republican argument by oir republican mayor Michael Bloomberg

He tried using the same "rhe rest of us shouldnt pay for your bad obesity health" argument with a soda tax

How a republican mayor introducing a bill becomes a leftist idea with republicans boggles my mind. Just laying out facts here

Also in NY the cigarette tax popularity was not divided by right vs left but by smokers vs non- smokers. It was lol perhaps the most partisan issue politically here while still being divided into 2 groups

Interestingly the soda tax introduced by republican Bloomberg was universally reviled by everyone and was killed It never happened. All sides came together agaibst Bloomberg on that one (except for a few health and anti-obesity wings which were to my memory politically far right - as in must deny freedom to choose soda to save people from themselves and save taxpayers from higher insurance premiums

Finally sorry to report but Starbucks has been a homeless haven for many years. I used to go there often in my homeless tenure. Not to sleep but just crash for a fee hours. Public libraries as well. Sorry but as the horror movie line goes "Its too late. THEY,RE HERE. They are among us"

Trump Is More Popular Than Dems Want to Admit - SF Chronicle

Like it or not, a significant number of Americans are actually happy these days. They are making money. They feel safe, and they agree with with the president’s protectionist trade policies, his call for more American jobs, even his immigration stance...Democrats need to look like the adults, not like another pack of screaming kids on the playground. And they need to start now. It's time for the Democrats to stop bashing President Trump.

Why implode over a high school student

Did you know that on May 4th, kids from across the country walked out of school to support gun rights? Some kid in New Mexico started "Stand for the Second", got support from a group called the "Tea Party Patriots" (see how the support is acknowledged and communicated?) and kids from coast to coast all walked out in support of the 2nd. Many of whom were kids who (*shock**gasp*) also walked out on Stand for Our Lives, in case anyone was still believing teens are a paragon of honor and integrity.

Did you hear about this? Even know about it? Anyone here?

That's why it's easy. I've no feelings on a boy I don't know. I've got a lot on this propaganda horses#$% twisting truths and manipulating information to promote its agenda. And though I can't remember saying a cross word about the boy, if he wants to be the face of this garbage, then seems fair that he be treated as such.

I might call him a c#$%. He would strip me of my freedom, steal thousands of dollars of my equipment, and have me thrown in jail. Rather than try to parse through your mind, how about you tell me how it is I'm the monster in this scenario?

David Hogg has demonstrated he's perfectly capable of handling himself and the criticism from gun owners who think they are in a militia.

Contrast that to the right-wing media who have demonstrated they are NOT capable of handling themselves in a professional and GROWN UP way, evidenced by the multiple lies and conspiracy theories they spread about those kids.

Kyle Kushov has been pushing gun rights on Foxnews supporting the NRA
Kyle Kushov could organize a march himself
I used to live near DC
Seen plenty of pro gun marches. I think some of their propaganda is horse*#$%^

And that's what Hitler did when he
was elected in Germany. He went
door to door to door and collected
all the guns of the citizens, even the
hunting rifles. And if you refused to
submit to a search you were hauled
to jail.

That's why Hoggy boy is called a Nazi,
that's what he wants to happen here.
An unarmed populace is a defenseless
one, and that's what's really at the
bottom of this.
