Now it turns out Sean Hannity is involved. Interesting. Why would he need a fixer?

He works at Fox News. He's probably got some sexual harassment skeletons in his closet.

That's all Michael Cohen is good for (and he's not even that good at it): covering up sexual harassment and extramarital affairs with NDAs.

Just for starters, might be interesting to know why Hannity didn't feel it was necessary to make that connection known to his audience.

Anyone check if Trump's lawyer actually has a law degree? He's seems about as useful as a hole in a condom.

How does Hannity survive this now? He has been harping on the FBI raid for a week without mentioning his relationship.
Earlier he said he had a few short conversations of a non lawyer basis, but now insist lawyer-client confidentiality applies.

Hannity's explanation of his relationship was lol funny. "I might've handed him ten dollars...something like that." Might've? Something like that? l...o...l

I don't get how anybody can support what's going on with this administration right now. Really baffling. Blind ideology is a powerful thing.

Just imagine what the right, including Hannity, would've said if it were true that Obama's personal lawyer, the target of a criminal investigation, was also secretly the laywer for Rachel Maddow, and she had been using her show to defend the lawyer without disclosing that relationship.

Seriously, how does a news network allow one of its star to rant about something for a week without mentioning his intimate connection to the subject of the raid.

Russians say there was no gas attack in Douma.

Now western press has reached Douma, and they say there was no poison gas either. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-04-16/first-western-journalist-syrian-hospital-which-treated-chemical-weapons-victims So does the west apologize for launching hundreds of bombs onto what is left of Syria, for a crime they did not commit, and weren't allowed to prove they didn't commit, before raining them with shells? How did this become the practice of "the greatest country" ?

Hell yeah they do. It should be tough on the secret agents of any nation, if they cross their oaths. If we find Americans giving state secrets to the Chinese , Russians, Japan, Israel etc. They should be found and shot. I have no problem with that.

I'm a real conservative. (Well sort of...) Please show me EVIDENCE that Cohen was Hannity's lawyer. Hannity denies it. I'm sure there is some form of contract Cohen can produce? Some written notes of what he was representing Hannity in? If so, find it and show it!
Please show me EVIDENCE that Cohen, this Cohen!, was in Prague. Should be easy, right?
Please show me EVIDENCE that there is a PEE tape with Trump in it. Gosh.... I'd say if it existed the Enquirer or CNN would pay MILLION for it, don't you?

So all this, and much more, will mean something to me when there is actual EVIDENCE that I can see.

It's interesting how losers, and that's what the Democrats are right now, losers, try and spin things. You lose the Presidency. You lose the House. You lose the Senate. You lose untold hundreds of local elections. A Conservative is named to the Supreme Court. A tax bill anathema to ALL Democrats is passed. And some lawyer may or may not have been in Prague and that is a big deal to Democrats. A talk show host may or may not have spoken with that attorney and that is a big deal to Democrats. The President may or may not have had an extramarital affair (or many!) BEFORE he was President and that is a big deal to Democrats.

You are getting NO LEGISLATION passed for at least 4 years, likely longer, and somehow the Republicans are in trouble!

All this talk about "righties" being in trouble is the biggest DEFLECTION of all!!! The left has NO POWER right now. None. Zero. The only thing the left has going for it is the incompetence of the Republican party, and the future... (2020)

What a conundrum for you

Michael cohen himself says hannity is his client in court under oath and forced to admit by presiding judge

Hannity denies

Believe Hannity that puts trump in LOTS of jeopardy. Why? Because his personal lawyer is now lying under oath about something real easy to prove (where are contracts payments etc from Hannity) I am sure Trump will be thrilled if his personal lawyer is lying under oath (Mueller too for that matter)

Or Hannity is lying which makes everything look really bad for conservatives who worship Fox News and him due to coverups that exposes

Hmmm Soopoo which angle do you prefer?

Frank Abagnale said it's easy to fake being a lawyer.

He just studied for the bar exam for a few weeks/months, took it, passed it, then faked all the other necessary paperwork.

I just wonder if these Trump supporters know they're setting themselves up for failure the next time there's a President they don't like:

"You supported a President who cheated on multiple wives, paid for sex with porn stars, and bragged about sexually assaulting women, and were fine with that. I'm sorry, but you don't get to be upset that Democratic President So-and-So once dated an 18 year old when he was in his 30's (or any other minor sexual 'scandal')."

You just don't get it. I just don't care about a lawyer who paid a tramp to not talk about Trump's affairs. Or if a man, even the President, wanted to cover up his extramarital affair(s). I don't care if Cohen lied and goes to jail. It means nothing to me. It means nothing to the laws and executive orders and policies we will be living with from this administration. Trump is a sleaze, and it was WELL KNOWN before the election. The election was a repudiation of progressive/Democrat ideals, in spite of the man the Republicans put up as their candidate. So if it turns out Cohen is lying under oath, then send him to jail. If it turns out Hannity is lying, then fire him.
The bottom line is that in 2017 and 2018 the Democrats are the losers, as they are getting no legislative agenda passed. None. No executive orders in their favor. None. No tax bill they support. None. No Supreme Court Justice they can even tolerate. None. Please don't tell me some sleaze lawyer for a sleaze President getting caught in a sleaze situation is proof that the 'righties' are afraid. The only thing I am afraid of is the Democrat President in 2020, and the possible Democrat House (likely) and Senate (maybe).

I'll believe it when I see evidence. How can you tell when a lawyer is lying? You see her lips moving..... It seems to me Hannity has too much to lose by being caught in this type of lie, frankly. I'm sure he makes high 7 figures from his gig and would rather kiss Michelle Obama than lose his gravy train.

The ONLY reason Cohen's lawyers disclosed Hannity's name in court yesterday is because his name appears on documents seized by the FBI. They tried like hell to NOT disclose it, but the judge wasn't having it.

So no hard evidence...yet (I believe it will drip drip drip). But give me a break. There was no hard evidence of a lot of things in the Obama administration that "real conservatives" bought hook, line, and sinker, and spread over their propaganda machine to fool millions of Americans into thinking that Obama was a terrorist sent here by Bill Ayers to destroy the world.

Fisk has a lot of street cred: https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/syria-chemical-attack-gas-douma-robert-fisk-ghouta-damascus-a8307726.html I looked at your link from OPCW and didn't see where they said they were blocked. I'm not afraid. I expect it to happen. On many social issues it will be good. Won't be unhappy with some form of stronger gun control. Won't mind the rollback of the tax cuts which ironically will lower my taxes. Will be happy not to hear that abortion is murder. The things I'll be unhappy about I will adjust to, as I always have. If there is anyone who actually thinks Trump will be re-elected we can make that bet right now....

If I said that I would say my choice of the word 'afraid' was poor. I'm not afraid of anything political. I would be disappointed. That's a more accurate description. If I had a magic button I would always have one of the houses of Congress Repub, one Dem, and alternate the Presidency. I believe that either left or right having unchecked power is not good. Since Trump isn't really a Republican his power HAS been checked by some Republicans who are embarrassed he is President. Forcing a compromise brings the true good leaders to the top, and the fringe players fall to he bottom. NY State for many years (likely due to gerrymandering) has had a Republican Senate, Democratic Assembly, and Democratic Governor. I believe the results are far better than if all 3 were one or the other. As I have said somewhere here before, I believe Cuomo will use the fact that he worked with a Republican Senate successfully in his Presidential run in 2020.

Gotcha.

alternate the Presidency.

I'm surprised that something to this effect wasn't written into the Constitution in the 1800's.

So nothing to do with journalism ethics or honesty to his audience. Got it

Yup. He and Limbaugh play the same nasty game and have for decades. They pule about journalists, mock and deride people, tell blatant lies and wild exaggerations, and when they are called on even the most outrageous thing they say, they claim they are "pundits", not journalists, are "entertainers" or expressing an opinion, and don't have to conform to the same standards.

Cowards. Liars. Disruptors. Preying on gullible and ignorant, angry or disaffected people. Shut the hell up.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

The founding fathers didn't anticipate political parties.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

If we’re going to believe what he said, then it’d be clear he’s responding to everyone calling him out for talking to Cohen sometimes.

If we’re going to believe the “Hannity is involved in some scandal and is covering it up”, I don’t blame someone for wanting to cover something up. Even then, it doesn’t mean it’s unethical or dishonest to not tell his audience about dealings with Cohen, unless it’s directly related to whatever he’s been “reporting” on.

I don’t really care what happens, if he or anyone else is guilty of something then they should have to pay the consequences. If not, then not. I don’t watch Hannity, Laimbaugh, Fox News, or really any “news” on TV.

Seems like the last year+ there’ve constantly been cases where the libs find an “Aha! Gotcha! This is yuuuuuge!” nonsense and can’t stop talking about it for forever. Then nothing happens. Or maybe politics is just too slow paced for me. It’s pretty damn boring, TBH.
