I believe this to be true.Quote: EvenBobMost people are racist in some way, they
just are in denial or won't admit it.
Quote: AxelWolfI believe this to be true.
If a Cuban hates a Mexican he often
won't think it's racist. The Blacks I
knew in the cab biz didn't think it was
racist to hate whites, they hated them
because they thought they thought
whites had everything and they had
nothing. If you want to see unhidden
rampant racism, go to almost any
other country in the world. Go to
Hawaii, it's on open display every day.
Quote: billryanHawaii hasn't been a country for 120 years now. If I were Hawaiian, I certainly won't look kindly at the people who stole my country.
Oh, the Hawaiians are the least of it.
The Chinese and Japanese hate each
other with a hot passion, and everybody
hates the Samoans. Of course the
native Hawaiians don't care for anybody,
but they're nicer about it.
China and Japans feud goes back hundreds
of years. And of course they both think
Hawaii should belong to them and they
think it will some day. Never seen so
much racial prejudice against Whites
as I saw in Hawaii.

Hawaii is dead set against casinos. They are already
a premier world wide tourist destination. They feel
casinos would cheapen the islands and invite a
class of people they don't want.
"The Aloha State doesn’t allow land-based casinos, horse, dog racing and off-track betting, pari-mutuel wagering and even bingo or raffle operations. Both state and police officials believe that legalizing gambling may increase drug and prostitution-related crimes.'
11 Obama Legacy Items Repealed
With the passage of the GOP tax bill this week, the Trump administration has scored 81 major achievements in its first year, making good on campaign promises to provide significant tax cuts, boost U.S. energy production, and restore respect to the United States..
And along the way, President Trump even outdid his own expectations and slashed at least 11 major legacy items of former President Barack Obama, including cracking down on the open border, slowing recognition of communist Cuba and effectively killing Obamacare..

Great post.
he comes right out and admits there
was a silent coup attempt to get rid of
Trump at the very start of his presidency.
We've been hearing about it for the past
two years, but this is the first person who
was deeply involved that's admitting it.
Is he that desperate to sell his book?
Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) vowed to hold hearings into former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's claim that Justice Department officials had discussions about the use of the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump.
Graham said:
So through good reporting by “60 Minutes,” there’s an allegation by the acting FBI director at the time that the deputy attorney general was basically trying to do an administrative coup, take the president down by the 25 Amendment process.
McCabe says Rosenstein volunteered more
than once to 'wear a wire' in meetings with
Trump to try and get him to say things
he could be removed from office for. This
was all going to come out eventually, who
thought it would come from the mouth of
one of the co-conspirators.
The fix was so in for Hillary, it was set so deep
and for so many years, they lost their minds
when Trump won.

That's just nonsense.... removing Trump was not going to make Hillary president. They clearly had enough information that Trump was in Putin's pocket to make them concerned.
Quote: rsactuaryThat's just nonsense.... removing Trump was not going to make Hillary president.
Who said it was. They had to get rid
of Trump because they had no control
over him, he was a political outsider
who owed no favors to anyone. At
least they could deal with Pence,
and get rid of him too, or at least
beat him in 2020.
Hillary was supposed to appoint at
least 4 Scotus judges. Ginsberg should
have retired under Obama. She said
she wanted to retire under the first
woman president instead.
Obama and his cronies made a deal
with Clinton in 08 after he beat her.
She would be SoS, and be the front
runner of the party in '16. They would
make sure there was no opposition,
and help her with dirty deeds to make
sure she won.
When she lost it was 8 years of planning
down the drain, and they were so desperate
to get rid of the outsider they planned a
silent coup, made up phony evidence
(the peepee dossier) and presented it as
the real thing to get the fake Russia
collusion probe going.
Now McCabe is throwing a monkey wrench
in by giving details on how it was planned.
Quote: rxwineA president who doesn't even leave records in the archive of his talks with Putin
And we know everything Obama
discussed with foreign leaders?
Yeah, right. Remember this, when
Obama was caught on an open
mic telling the Russians he can
give them what they want after
the 2012 election. Imagine if this
had been Trump, they would be
screaming IMPEACHMENT!
Quote: EvenBobAnd we know everything Obama
discussed with foreign leaders?
Yeah, right.
So, because Obama got away with it, we should let Trump get away with it?
If it was wrong then, it was wrong now.
Or were you okay with Obama getting away with it?
Quote: TigerWuSo, because Obama got away with it,
'Got away with it'? Why do you think
every word said behind closed doors
by a president to a foreign leader
is the public's business.
Quote: TigerWuSo, because Obama got away with it, we should let Trump get away with it?

Get away with what? No reason to think anything wrong was done. Just more liberal wishful thinking.

So you're okay with it. Just asking.

OK with what, presidents doing their
jobs? Sure, aren't you? If they have
our best interests in mind, making
deals is what they're supposed to
be doing.

Its freedom. So funny Trump cant deal with freedom. His whining is just not Presidential
Quote: EvenBobOK with what, presidents doing their

No, I mean being okay with Presidents talking to foreign leaders of possibly an adversarial nature and no other Americans or administration officials are in the room or have any idea what was said.

Gosh, it sure seems like he does. Booming
economy, lowest unemployment in
50 years, more blacks and Latinos
have jobs than at any time in history,
Isis is gone, N Korea is no longer a
threat, we're pulling out of Syria,
he's walling up the border.
All that great stuff for America,
sounds like our best interests
are on his mind all the time.

Enough Americans in 35 or so states voted in a high enough number who thought he does have our best interests at heart, at least when compared to the alternative, that being a HRC. Presidency. So your opinion was drowned out by the Electoral College. In 2020 you get the chance to try and win a few more states.

I can easily forgive people for that in 2016.* In fact, I think even in this very forum, at one point I said I was leaning towards supporting him (I quickly changed my mind), and right when he was elected I said we should give him a chance.
However, I think in 2019 it's clear Trump doesn't care about America or Americans. He cares only about himself and his bank account.
*EDIT: Actually, even in 2016 it was clear that Trump was a scumbag, but Hillary was still very hated.
Quote: ams288TigerWu 2020!!
I don't think I'd get many votes. I'd have to run as an Independent, and my political views are all over the place; pro-gun, pro-universal healthcare, pro-capitalism but also pro-tax-the-rich-more, anti-abortion-but-don't-think-it-should-be-illegal, etc.

If he "only cared about his bank account" then why on earth would he give it all up and work for free (he donates his salary back to the Treasury, as Obama could have done with the "tax cut he didn't need" though he never did. Not saying, just saying.) He is probably the first POTUS in modern history to have a decline in his general living standard for taking the job (his plane was probably nicer than AF1.) Why would he go thru all the uncalled for abuse and personal attacks? Life would far easier if he had kept his businesses and his reality show.
He sure seems to care more about America and Americans than any POTUS since at least Reagan. He got the USA out of severa;l bad treaties and renegotiated others. He wants to stem the flow of illegal aliens. He actually DID things about all of this, not just talk like the last several guys we had in the WH.
I have met several people who saw their business boom as soon as he was elected (days later!) or made a policy change (steel tariffs.)
He cares about America and Americans. Does not care about the political class and political consultants. Which is why the establishment hates him. He is a threat to the swamp and wants to end their party.
A shame we only get to keep him for 6 more years.
Mr thin skinned president ony cares about himself and is complaining about SNL
LOL
Listen to Teddy, Donald

All these idiots in the Trump administration have been getting away with criminal and/or questionable acts for decades; they have no idea how to act when they're finally caught and they have to start facing some real consequences.

Trump has raised a whopping $130 million
so far. To put it in perspective, at this time
in 2011 Obama had raised 4 million. Bush
had raised 6 million in 2003.
So much for Trump's base eroding..

An eroding base wouldn't necessarily equate to less money anyway.
Maybe the ones who are sticking around are donating more money.
Maybe corporations that back him are donating more money.
Maybe Russia is donating more money.
He still has some of the worst approval ratings in history.

Did Sheldon Adelson give another 100 million?
Quote:Yet Adelson has spent the Trump era hustling to expand his gambling empire. With Trump occupying the White House, Adelson has found the greatest political ally he’s ever had.
“I would put Adelson at the very top of the list of both access and influence in the Trump administration,” said Craig Holman of the watchdog group Public Citizen. “I’ve never seen anything like it before, and I’ve been studying money in politics for 40 years.”

So Trump is a socialist now? He wants the government to dictate what is and isn't news, and if they don't fall in line they're an enemy of the people? Or does this make him a fascist? Or both?
A pro-capitalist president would allow the free-market to determine the direction and success of a journalistic medium. Why doesn't Trump want that unless he is anti-capitalist?

Compromised: 10.8%
Broken: 17.6%
Stalled: 27.5%
