I posted a thread several years ago speculating on the reasons previously active forum members suddenly fall off the radar.


Aided by AcesAndEights member list script, I updated the info just to see how things looked as of today. Below is a list of once active members (200+ posts) who have not logged in since January. Some of these are restricted members, but most of them are not.


It was kind of like a walk down memory lane in some ways seeing the names of members that once participated quite often (and some most vigorously at that!). Some were controversial, some added great value, some added little value. But all contributed in their own way, good or bad.


Interestingly, it appears like the month of September 2015 was a disproportionately heavy time for final log-ins. I show that nearly 23% of the total list is made up of folks who last logged-in during that month.


I know I don't post very often myself, but I've been reading this board pretty much every day since 2010. So most of these folks are/were familiar to me, and I still miss quite a few of their contributions. Especially ol' Ace.


Anybody got any favorites on the "missing members list" that jump out at them?

Since there is another welcher on here currently then lemmiwinks should be allowed back. Or I guess he could make a new name like the other one did. Anyways, we need lemiuex back so I can buy one of his $10 buffets this summer.

Croupier I miss. Wonder what happened to him.

gofaster87 works for a pool cleaning service here in Vegas, including my pool. As far as I know, he's doing well. I think he just lost interest in the forum.

JuicieJennie almost made the list, but she fell just under the 200 post threshold. She definitely brought some spice to the forum while she was here though! Chippies, anyone?

P90 logged in back in February, so he just missed the date threshold of January. Even though he logged in, he has only made two posts since 2013, which is a real shame. He always had a lot to contribute to the forum.


Another member whose posts I really miss is 7craps. He logged in this month, but hasn't posted in over two years. He really knew WinCraps front to back and was always willing to help folks with it.


And of course you know I miss ol' Buzz as well!

He basically self-banned by trolling until he was nuked. His on-topic posts were incredibly valuable. But, he also had several issues with the site's management and constantly complaining about the admins is a good way to be silenced by the admins...

I always felt like 1BB was a strong advocate for new members. Sometimes new folks have initial questions/ideas that aren't necessarily very popular, but it seemed like 1BB always reached out to them to make them feel welcome regardless.

I rarely post now, it's very boring here. All
the interesting members have been banned
or left. I used to post 20+ times a day, now
it's a few times a week. Some days I don't
come here at all.

I have been practicing juggling for years. I have such good hand eye coordination but just can't get juggling. 3 balls for about 15 throws is all I got.

When I went to cirque du soleil and saw them juggle like 18 balls while bouncing them off the floor as well made me want to have thst skill.

I assume you are talking about Zarkana. The juggling in that show was amazing. I learned how to juggle when I was about 7 or 8 and stopped 2 years later but it is a skill that never leaves you. To this day I can juggle almost any 3 objects for a very long time.

Funny, I went to New Mexico and thought of Klimate when I entered the Santa Ana Star as well.
