Hey, I can answer that for you! I wrote this hacky perl script a while back to scrape the member directory and get a list of top posters all they way down to member #6971 (current member count). I added a column for threads started and updated the thing here:
All WoV members ordered by post count.
Now getting the answer to "most posts with 0 threads started"...I could add some fancy javascript to my plain text HTML page to enable multi-column-sorting or some other BS like that...or I could just hack my script to tell you the answer on an ad-hoc basis :)
All WoV members who have 0 threads, ordered by post count
tringlomane is indeed the winner, with LonesomeGambler coming in a rather distant 2nd with 232 posts and 0 threads started.

As for the no thread thing, yeah, the few questions I have had I've tried to tack onto related threads. And for trips, I've used the blog feature. One of them took a necro bump to avoid a new thread, iirc. Buzz also gave me a jab about never starting a thread over 1500 posts ago I think...haha
I'll start a thread someday, but whatever it is it will probably be pretty damn important to me.

Not a snipe at Bob at all :). It's just an artifact of array indices starting at 0 in perl (and every other programming language I use), and my being too lazy to convert it to lay-speak.

I asked to be reset to zero when I hit 10K and the

I don't feel the need to start a thread every time a thought pops into my head, not that I ever did. That's what the miscellaneous thread is for. There is certainly no need to flood the forum with mundane threads.
For those who haven't clicked the link, the posts, threads and posts per day are updated daily.
