The quantity of your posts that are solely about rules, mods, insult clarification, etc far outnumbers those of every other forum member COMBINED (not counting mods of course, since it's their job). I have never insulted EvenBob , or anyone for that matter, personally. We are told to keep the critique to the persons writings, not the person. And in this case I was critiquing what Bob says, and even that was in jest. I actually enjoy most of his posts.

someone once used that exact line on me, and when it was, I took pity on her and didnt take it as an insult.....I thought it was as funny as putting out a line on a mans death

There is not nearly enough to go on to interpret your post as "he is on death's door and therefore jokes about it are in bad taste." You didn't give a time of your communication, what what pretty sick means, or his preferences about us discussing his 15000th post and his health heading into it. I have no problem with people making jokes. I am not so fragile of mind that I can't tune out a bad thought if it offends me (which these do not). Sick has many meanings. Your phrase was "pretty sick." That can mean any of a wide variety of maladies. To me the default meaning would be too sick for work but going to get better in a few days. I would use "pretty sick" for food poisoning or a bad cold. I would never use that phrase to mean gravely sick. On that we may disagree.
