Looks like the odds are already listed on this, but I cant believe the wheel was not closed and checked.

This was not verified by anyone, so I'm going to guess it was an error with the ball reader. If someone actually saw it, then I'd think it was cool.

Sensor malfunction is a possibility.

My buddy took the following shot at Sands PA. It's on my Poker For Roulette website.

He tells me he got to the table after the second 5 hit. He knows it was the second 5 because 5 is one of his numbers, so he asked. He played it anyway, and pressed it up to a very nice payday.

For what it's worth, you'll note that there are no other duplicates in that history, so I tend to believe that there was no malfunction.

Sensor malfunction is a possibility.

Most times that is why the results shows that.
Dealers and supervisors know this happens a lot.

At Bill's Casino on the Strip, the roulette marquee to the right of the Rapid Craps table does it all the time.

Players get excited about it until the Dealer says that is just an error with the optical reader and nothing to get excited about.

This incident was discussed in another thread recently and it was felt that it was an annunciator error.

If you look at the photo you will see a lack of pandemonium at the roulette table and a rather bored craps table beside it. Had the incident actually taken place the roulette table would be five deep.

The article says 7 straight 19's hit the board shows seven straight 5's hitting so something is wrong.

What wrong is you've confused the photo in the article with the photo I posted above.

Well, Teddy is a DJ you know, and this sort of planted story is very common in the entertainment world.
I am sure his publicist planted that story.

Here is the photo that was tweeted. So not only was it seven 19's in a row, but it returned to 19 after one miss. In addition you have four out of six as a 20.
It does look as if there would be more excitement if these were actual rolls.

For what it's worth the story has made yahoo news, but remains unconfirmed. The person who took the photo was not playing just walking by and took the photo of the board of the table which was not in use. For all we know it could have been technicians testing the board by dropping the ball in the number 19 a bunch of times. (20 as well prior to that) If the story was legit the table would have been shut down after all those consecutive numbers, which could also explain why it was not in use, EXCEPT Caesars responded to this story saying they knew nothing of the incident, which surely they would have, so for my money I am betting against this being actual results, although don't discount my first theory. :)

Or is it possible those numbers indicate the IQ's of the players with a winning Roulette system ?

Now Yahoo news has picked up this "non-story." I rather enjoy Yahoo News, but after this post, I have to feel it's sloppy reporting. At least they acknowledge the fact that it wasn't verified...
