TI has one of the highest resort fees in town. $20/night for a newspaper. Here's another listing of resort fees. That right there should dissuade you from ever staying there.

I tried the TI buffet, and it's gotta be one of the worst in town, simply because most of it's behind glass. Who goes to a salad bar and then has to ask someone behind the counter to pick THAT glob of lettuce, or THAT broccoli? Retarded. I'll never go back. They didn't even have any lemon wedges for my tea. And if they did, it would've been behind glass.

I looked at the menu at Isla and saw a $14 burrito, and decided I wouldn't go in. There are other options. OTOH, there are girls loitering outside of Kahunahville with 2-for-1 coupons for their $12 cocktails, and they wear bikinis.

I was just there about 1.5 hours ago. Don't like what he's done with the place. Doesn't look like he's made many improvements, besides taking it downscale with Gilley's and the like. Gaming very mediocre. It's lost most of the Wynn elan if it had any to begin with.

And they don't seem to even have Ace Invaders any more :(

BTW TI is a great place to shoot pics of the Wynncore late in the afternoon. The Sun strikes the Wynn dead on and provides a lovely reflection.

You should be able to find Ace Invaders in greater numbers before too long. Leading Edge has released a new multi-game cabinet called "Multi-Strike Ultra-Deluxe" that includes Multi-Strike, Multi-Strike 16, Multi-Strike Big Pick, Multi-Strike Super Times Pay, Multi-Strike Double Down Stud, Big Split Poker and Ace Invaders. Reports are that Caesars has one, as does the Rio, but I don't know of any others at this point.

That would be great! I like the game, from playing online simulations, and it's one of the Wizard's early gigs to boot.

Can any local check this out? It would also be a great activity for WoVCon.

I'll be at the Rio playing the wsop cash games, and will try to remember to hunt it down for a photo.
